The sad thing is I’m old enough (and I assume you are too) to have watched the decline and disappearance of good old fashioned music. I mean to look at most of these Hip Hop artists they have no stage presence and really no show. Now just anyone can be a Hip Hop star. Just come up with a name like Lil’ Nas X, or Ice Spice and you can “rap” your way to stardom. Oh and ‘Lil Nas X is like 6 feet tall, not very ‘Lil. They don’t have to know how to play an instrument because they just sample music that’s already made or they just cobble something together with a computer. Rock and Roll still goes on but R&B has to die because we just didn’t feel like doing the work. Hip Hop will never die.

This was my dads favorite song, he said it reminded him of my mom. He didn’t like to admit it but he could sing, even sang in the church choir, but when he took me to school he would roll the windows down if this song ever came on and sing. Bless you and my condolences for the loss of your father. My Dad passed away from cancer this past April.
