The French Judoka Teddy Riner won the 🥉 at the Olympic Games in Beijing 2008. 4 years later he won the 🥇 in London. He defended his title in the +100kg category in Rio 2016. Besides that, he is an 8 time World Champion. Enjoy his first Olympic bout in Beijing 2008!

Pull on clothing doesn’t seem to be very sporting or part of judo? Obviously it is.but they should be shirtless. Half of it is just hanging on?

The grabbing of the trousers has now been removed from competitive judo since 2012. However, the gripping of the gi (upper body) is an essential part of the sport and necessary for the majority of techniques in judo. Including strangulation techniques.
