I had that DVD. Bought one on ebay long ago when I got interested in hunting up parts to restore and repair Teddy. I bought belts off Stand and Marianne Hanel too, but have also found that electronic parts stores carry the belts. The pinch roller for the plastic tape deck is probably one the hardest rubber components to track down. The pinch roller for the metal deck is just a common sized 9x6x1.5mm that's typically used on most walkman style tape players. The plastic deck pinch roller is slightly larger in size. I got tired of finding them in half working condition, so I stepped up to the plate and started repairing/restoring all the ones I've been able to gather that are in like brand new or barely used condition. I've done a couple Mickey's and Snoopy's too. I once did a Dozzzy, ALF, and Skippy Scribbles as well. Dozzy and Skippy Scribbles had the same metal deck mechanism as the 85-86 Teddy Ruxpin, but the Alf had a different mechanism. Still, all these characters are fairly simple to refurbish the tape deck mechanism on and get working perfectly again. Mother Goose is harder to work on, because of the eject button and the way the housing is setup. I did an Ideal Big Bird Storymagic once and that was a royal pain to get apart and put back together. It probably would have been easier if I had any sewing skills.

Yeah. However my Teddy Ruxpin had a popped out eye, but nonetheless he worked completely except for his popped eye whom I might repair without removing his fur.

He is a Gen 1 (or 2) 80s Teddy Ruxpin, who came with Teddy Ruxpin Lullabies instead of airship

@@androidmarshmallowahh5035 If the cassette deck is plastic he’s a Gen 2. If it’s metal he’s a Gen 1.

Thanks for posting this, I was so glad to see it when BlueOctopede shared and archived her copy, and quite relieved I didn't bid any higher than 70 bucks the last time I saw this up for auction! Not a lot of instruction, but would still like to have a copy for my collection.
