Teddy is precious and I bet he will learn how to use the doggy door soon! There's an idea for a video 😉 Would love to see him learning all the important things puppy's need to know.

Go Teddy! Interesting how Aunt Apple is getting more comfortable with him. Will she let him sleep next to her - that would be a photo for the ages...thanks for the videos...love seeing the snow while we are in 107 degree heat.

Once the running around dies down, Teddy will cuddle up with Apple and/or Bootsie. They have become very attached.

@@chaskat35 Just a question for your next 'Ask the Breeder' - How often should you wash your dogs? (Putting aside when they roll in dirt or dead animals or get in salt water, etc.) If they are just 'at home' - how often is too much? And what things should you avoid as far as special washes and treatments are concerned? Thanks for the excellent videos. (P.s My wife says to tell you that 'Teddy must stay!) Cheers

Can you tell us about Teddy’s litter mates?

I love when the puppies narrate! Would you get a Cavalier puppy whose parents only have basic cardiac testing or would you hold out for advanced cardiac testing? I've read on the internet that parents should have advanced cardiac screening annually for breeding, but I can't find a breeder who is this thorough. I'm curious to hear your take on this. thank you!
@chaskat352 ай бұрын
For nearly all the many years we have been breeding, the only cardiac clearance that was given was what is now called basic. Over the years, breeders who used this clearance were able to extend the average life of our Cavaliers by several years. I am still using the basic clearance, but I insist on having it done by a cardiologist. The results I've seen from general practitioner vets are frankly not very dependable.
