A huge Luther/Aaron Neville fan here.. and yup. huge Teddy fan.. Love all of his songs.. This gave me chills. He's great. My first time hearing him. Jensen Ackles (the actor who played Dean in Supernatural) sings this live as well and has his own band called Radio Company. Great that you mentioned the Luther Vandross runs because he also does it and you are right, not a lot of people do that these days. I LOVE covers like these! I've always always always said that I like Fiona Apple's cover of "Sally's Song" more than Amy Lee's because Amy Lee did exactly what was in the movie, every little thing was the same, it was an imitation, which is flattering, but no necessarily as creative. I like covers that get unique like this.
