@@mikewaite3746 the PRX is a nice watch, but when you see it in person it is a bit disappointing. I wanted to love it. I think the Maurice Lacroix Aikon is a better quality timepiece in that range. The D1 is also a decent cheapie.

The Overseas has been my grail watch for quite some time...and then they go ahead and release the 222...absolutely stunning. What's incredible to me is that 45 years later, the 222 looks like it could have been designed last week. What a timeless and brilliant design.

I’m loving the higher attention/focus on brands like Vacheron, JLC, etc instead of Rolex! I think the shenanigans Rolex has been playing with availability is really going to help build a following to some of these other great watchmakers.

I got high-end rep Overseas, after wearing the replica for almost a year (I also owe original GMT), and haven't been spotted once I have no doubt, the original doesn't worth 1\10 of it's price, They replicated any part of it including the inside movement. It's all about the craftsmanship and let's be honest, China can't be beaten.

@steve manna you don’t mention if you had the chance to compare it live. I personally can spot any replica watch from 1 m and less. If one buys a replica means either they can’t tell the difference or they think they people that look at your watch can’t spot the difference.

Vacheron is one of my very favorite brands. Have the rose gold overseas Chrono with the rose gold bracelet (special order). While I I luv the platinum salmon dial traditionalle…that perpetual calendar skeleton and new Tourbillion are spectacular. Thx Teddy!

I know the pricing categories are not the same but brands struggle to make a GMT complication in under 14.5mm and VC makes a perpetual calendar in under 9mm thick. Awesome. A future 222 in stainless would go crazy.

I believe VC is the best member of the Trinity. To be honest, I would bump off AP and replace them with ALS or Breguet. Vacheron is the oldest Trinity brand, and the Overseas blows the Royal Oak and Nautilus out of the water.

Although the differences are subtle, I prefer the original watches gold tone. It looks deeper, richer, more impactful. Whereas the reissue looks paler, more restrained. But I prefer the hands on the reissue. A stunning piece no doubt.
