The 222 is the Star of the Watches and Wonders this year. Great bracelet and Case is so beautiful thin. I've hard that it only will be sold in VC Boutiques. Is this true? Or could it be purchased from VC Retailers?

I’m really disappointed that VC copied my Tissot PRX in gold pvd (which copied the Rolex Oyster Quartz) now everyone is asking if my Tissot is the 222. Just random people on the street and even kids; it’s maddening. It’s really taking away from my enjoyment of my haute horology timepiece.

Will not happen! The watch will stay as it is since it is part of the « Historiques » collection. VC could introduce a modern interpretation though… the question is: does it make sense to establish a second collection beside the Overseas?

@@WatchAdvisor Good question! I would say the Overseas is the Aquanaut and the 222 is the Naitulus. The 222 (in my opinion) is the true competitor of the Royal Oak and the Nautilus. It's design has so much class and presence. A bit more "classic", straight shapes and timeless design.

For me it is a watch that is “almost right.” If it was ~38.5-39mm, pink gold, opaline dial, and had a small seconds then I would buy one. When I admire my watch dial it is a must that I see some movement, otherwise it loses visual interest.
