The AT Black Lacquer is one of the best GADA watches, because of the 8900 w/jump hour, the additional polish ‘pop’, giving it a better dress option, the METAS certs, and 150m WR. It needs to be worn back to back against the Explorer and OP to truly appreciate the differences.

I think it would be interesting to do an updated blue collar video. I'm an aircraft mechanic and I don't get particularly dirty, like auto mechanics do. We do have PPE, but shit happens.

Anything on a metal bracelet with a white or silver dial goes with anything. In my opinion the ultimate would be a datejust 41 yellow rolesor, fluted bezel, silver dial. Can be dressed up or down, goes with a black, navy, or brown suit -- traditionally hard to match with colors unless your watch dial is the same color as what youre wearing. The Citizen Tsuyosa white dial ($350) also fits within that realm for a much more budget friendly option.

Gotta agree on Citizen. I have a billion year old Blue Angel watch that I bought while in college, and it has always felt like one and done for Citizen... but in the past few months I've suddenly gone a bit crazy for Citizen, with two Tsuyosa's, one Tsuyosa small seconds (in blue, but the black/grey works for this video), and a Series 8. Crazy how Citizen is coming in strong all of a sudden under the Citizen brand, and I'm loving it. And best of all - you can create mix/match looks with three Tsuyosa's and not break $1k (buy 'em on sale). My personal favorite is what I call the Citizen "Mondrian" because of the interesting mix of colors/strips - and it always lands as a "what is that?" watch - which we all love as a door opener to talk story about watches. 😀
