I did not expect to get Remember this before the full album listens but that was great! Don’t worry about the pondering, it’s not boring we all love discussing his music. I have friends who literally don’t care for NF I’ve been raving about him for years and they’re literally like “music should be fun and relaxing, this is depressing" or "his songs are simple and all sound the same” there’re even some who appreciate his videos but don’t care for the music! It’s PAIN and I don’t get it but I stopped trying to convince them. With NF it’s like if you get it, that’s awesome. If you don’t, probably it wasn’t the right time and there’s no convincing.

I think some people can not relate to the struggles. I had an ex who said his music was depressing, but for me, music has always been there for me. Form of escape or a way to express my feelings. I shared mansion with her, and why did you leave us. Trying to let her in on my personal struggles, she just said it was depressing. So it's tough and hard to let people in when you worry they won't accept or see the bigger picture. Have a great day, guys!

I like that NF says to think twice before you bite the hand that made you.... whether that's your parents or your boss or all the way back to God... he's saying don't just abandon everything that helped you along the way, but also don't just go along with whatever they tell you unless you know you believe it. This applies to me being raised in a Christian family and having to come to faith on my own, not just because of my upbringing.

I've been following NF for years and some of the others fans can probably remember this...😂. What was so cool about this song is that over a span of time before the release of this song NF would post quotes that were straight truth. Then he released the Perception albumwith this song and it was all the quotes he posted were the lyrics to THIS son, REMEMBER THIS. That was dope.

Hey Teddy. Love the reactions! Have you considered watching it the first time without pausing to get your initial reaction. Then replaying the video and pausing when you want? I wish all my favorite reactors followed this formula. Favorite as in the ones whose insights and experience listening which I’m most impacted by. Teddy, you’re one of my favorites. A complete listen while reacting without responding in depth, followed by another listen with pauses. I’d watch entire 30 minute videos and anyone who doesn’t want pauses would also be satisfied. if i remember correctly i heard awhile ago that most of the singing in Nate’s songs is Nate himself, and whoever engineers his music, i think TP, pitches it up because that’s part of Nate’s style. A lot of them you can’t tell it’s Nate, or it just sounds so different, but i feel like i can hear Nate singing here, as if i’ve heard an early version of him in the studio singing this.

I think the whole point with the hooks is that he's always had the ability to write good hooks, but like people pointed out, in his faster 'hype songs', because most of the crowd won't be able to rap as fast as him, he makes the hooks simple so they can be apart of the songs live. Then with his slower, more meaningful songs, he can have a bit more depth in the hooks/choruses because it's slow enough for people to know all the words
