Characters actions don't contradict their inner motivation on a second view. The talk in the forest alone goes from "they didn't tell us anything" to "holy shit they said so much"! I like the title 氷解 so much. Yes, it literally means thaw. All hardening in walls thaw. But it can also be used as 疑問氷解, all questions (疑問) are answered. And, maybe it is my over interpretation, 解 can also be used in reconciliation. We see it in Gabi with Kaya and Shadis with his students.

It's amazing how had we seen this sequence back in Season 1, in our ignorance, this scene would have been a simply triumphant moment and we could just cheer, but seeing it now with what I know I can't help but feel deeply saddened. Most reactors I've watched haven't even noticed that the Titan that attacked Kaya was Nile(so ty for that), the man who returned Falco to Gabi and the man she saved from Colt by believing in his humanity, and now Gabi is forced to kill him.

Regarding the worm thing, it seems also to be a combo of the hallucigenia and the mythological creature in Norse myth called the Nidhogg. It is a dragon/serpent who chew on the bottom of the world tree Yggdrasil and torments sinners in Hel. It's appearance is also a symbol of the arrival of Ragnarok (Rumbling)

The thing about Gabi and the Gun, people seem to forget that Gabi is a *TRAINED* Marlyean Soldier and a Warrior Candidate. Which in our world is equivalent to Special Forces/Navy Seals type of training. So Gabi and the rest of the Warrior Candidates are pretty fit and have incredible strength than most of us average normal folks. Gabi a child soldier *Trained* for killing, so of course she can lug around that huge anti-titan rifle. She can pick it up and bring it around but it still is too powerful for a child physique. We literally saw her get affected by the recoil after shooting Eren's head of his shoulders.

It wasn't the same tower. In season 1 they were fighting in Trost. Now they're in Shiganshina, Eren, Armin and Mikasa's home town where the series started. Also ironic that those cadets who complained about training to fight titans being useless, and beat up Shadis when the Jaegerists showed up. Are now being saved from titans by Shadis.

Isayama is very clever with his characters choices. Sasha looks like an empty character that only thinks about food but she was insightfull. When she saves Kaya fighting that Titan with the bare hands is pure braveness. When she said to little Kaya: "I promise someone will be there to help you. You might not find them right away, but keep running until you do." And now Nicollo said: "Escape the forest." - like, we need to leave this hate cycle behind us. Sasha is there... guiding them towards that.

Fun fact did u know that sasha , eren, and gabbi are actually came from the same family tree? (or descendants? Don't know the word) That's why they look a like, dense, have no fear, so determine on what they want and have a killer aim. That's why falco and gabbi recognize mr braus accent as a southern marleyan accent. Another hint why mikasa is so close with sasha because she felt their similarities.
