Iwaizumi, the most underrated character of season 2 by far. He has had by far the most amazing recieves this season, on par with Nishinoya, serving as Aoba Joshua's guardian deity while being their ace. And then he goes on to being the most supportive friend in telling Oikawa at the very end about his relentless volleyball passion and "To keep going without a second thought". Those were probably the words Oikawa needed to listen to the most. After continuously failing for 3 years over and over again to first Ushikawa and then his junior, Kageyama, anybody including Oikawa can start doubting themselves. Even if not now, there can come a time when Oikawa is at his lowest thinking about these losses and wondering if continuing volleyball is even worth it, but Iwaizumi's words will ring "Keep going forward without a second doubt". God, I love him.

ushijima definitely has reason to be confident considering shiratorizawa has been the top team to go to nationals for 3 years straight and ushijima represents japan under the age of 19, in mind that he'll probably immediately go pro on a olympic level after high school. but anyway, the whole 'you should have come to shiratorizawa' meme will never get old LOL plus, that seijoh ending will never fail to make cry! can't wait for you to start season 3

What i love about this extra ending is that it shows that Oikawa and Iwaizumi could have been the main characters of the show, just like Kageyama and Hinata. Like i said, it's not about Karasuno, and yes, Ushijima has reasons to be confident like that, he's on another level, no one comes close to him as a player in the Miyagi Prefecture, i think he's the definition of "built different"

Haikyuu became my comfort series❤️ lot of ppl suggested 'Friends' during my tough time but even after 10 seasons of it.. I enjoyed it but it didn't exactly gave me any comfort! Bunch of model-like ppl living luxuriously in NY didn't connect with me, it was funny! Then I came across Haikyuu after I saw a reaction video thumbnail in RTTV channel... Just a FYI: The clip at the end is an additional scene from the 3rd recap movie "Sainou to Sense", & was never released on its own as an Original Video Animation. "OVA 2" refers to an actual OVA called "vs 'Akaten'". A lot of people confuse "OVA" to mean any & all clips that're not from the TV series, including cuts posted on KZbin by someone, & end up getting confused with the numbers of the actual OVAs.

The last play was exactly the same as the first season where Karasuno lost, but Hinata was watching the court this time, that made a big difference and Oikawa predicted everything at the end, when in the first season he told to Iwa that when Kageyama would trust Hinata even more it would be a big problem and it was because Hinata improved much more and became worthy of Kageyama's trust 100 percent in this second season

Some ramblings of mine about the OVA. It's sad to see the Seijou third years break down like that. But it's still better than crying alone at home. And after high school, Oikawa and Iwaizumi will part ways. If Hinata and Kageyama's fistbump in episode 25 marks the beginning of their partnership, then Iwaizumi and Oikawa's fistbump marking the end. Different universities, not see each other that often, especially after all those years practicing together. There's more but I won't spoil anything else here. Also, the second and first years giving their all for next tournaments. The future captain bathing with rubber ducks, I love Yahaba so much.
