Thanks for the kind words and comments. In 2014 I performed a Week at the Creek, a residency at the iconic Creek and the Cave in Long Island City, NY. It’s a tiny room seating about 30 if you’re lucky. I decided to shoot the last few days of the run- not with an hour special in mind- but when I watched the footage I thought “This might make a cool special.” I love the way it came out. I really enjoyed this glimpse into the inner-workings of your mind, I wish more comics would publish footage of themselves testing new material. I can understand why they wouldn't before a special comes out, but I'd be interested in hearing it later to observe how bits evolve. Your last special was fresh but also perfectly polished, and I love the way you use body language. You're one of my favorites, I'd put you in the same category as Gary Gulman.

He absolutely is! I’m a hard-working high school teacher and discovered him recently, and I’ve watched him repeatedly and I fucking love him he’s the best! So good… To me, who is a huge fan of stand-up, 41 years old, he’s truly one of the best!

Thanks for uploading this. I got a question, though: Why doesn't every comedian who hasn't yet become a household name do this? You obviously get more exposure this way. Sure, you don't want to upload your current show, but once you've begun a new tour, why not? Ted's one of the few who seem to understand what a promotional tool KZbin can be.

Thanks for the kind words. Comedians are trying to make a living and grow their audience. Nobody uploads their special to youtube as a first option. If you can't get anyone to buy it and put it on a platform where more people will see it, you explore the alternatives. The pros of youtube is everyone uses it. The cons are you're at the mercy of the algorithm. But that's life in the arts. Keep plugging, keep making stuff and putting it out. Thanks again.
