As a nursing student I think this is a great explanation of the use of vaccines. The one thing I would change is the blood dripping from the arms after injection. This does not happen post vaccination (maybe a tiny drop does) but for those afraid to vaccinate it may be one more reason not to. I would have used this video as a referenced piece of educational material for a health fair but the blood may cause more fear, especially for younger individuals.

That’s an extreme statement. At a high level Exposing yourself to any virus has the same affect as a getting a vaccine. The underlying factor in how your immune system responds to the exposure is a direct correlation to your overall metabolic health. What’s the biggest difference? You don’t know what is in a vaccine and how your body will respond. However, you have control over your lifestyle and the impact it has on your health. You can’t put people in masks for a year and expect their immune systems to remain strong.

Vaccines can be controversial for many reasons, and this video talking about how they actually work brings up an idea that is not talked about as often. Because of how vaccines work, people sometimes view them as counterintuitive. Because vaccines work by injecting a person with a small amount of the disease, or diseases, they are being protected against, people question how it works. When people are injected with the vaccine, it is common to experience side effects such as coughing, sneezing, inflammation, and fever. These symptoms, which are most commonly associated with becoming sick, sometimes make people feel like the vaccine is doing the opposite of what it is supposed to be doing. They go in trying to protect their kid from getting sick, so they often wonder why their kid starts to show signs of developing a cold or flu. These symptoms can easily be explained by what they are doing. They are working to trap things like bacteria and get rid of them from the body. After that, adaptive immunity kicks in and programs the body to get rid of these types of bacteria if they are introduced to the body in the future. Though the process and symptoms may seem harmful to parents, they are actually helping the child. When children are vaccinated against diseases, they have the opportunity to live a healthier life.

Louise Larsson Well let's hit your two points then, huh? 1) On the poisons and such. Which specifically? For example, if you worried about mercury being in your vaccine, let's explain why it used to be in there. While some forms of Mercury are VERY toxic (like those fish contaminated with it that you can't catch and then eat) other kinds don't harm the human body in small doses. The kind that used to be in vaccines was that safe kind, obviously. (Feel free to look this up yourself as well if you'd like the actual names of those specific compounds). 2) Lowering IQ and making people sick. Well, for one, IQ changes over your life anyway, due to age and other variables. But in relation to vaccines, there is no proof that vaccines would cause one's IQ to lower. One case you might be thinking of is vaccines causing autism perhaps? That isn't vaccines actually. The reason this is a popular thought is because a scientist once published a study in a well-known high-quality science journal that claimed this and demanded more research. In reality, his study was the problem. He only studied 12 patients and didn't look at all of the variables. Many scientists showed this and retracted the paper from the journal, but it was too late. The public already believed the lie. (I also believe the original scientist later retracted his own statements but I could be wrong on that). As for nowadays when people claim their child got autism after vaccines, that is only an anecdote, not data. You think parents are going to account for every variable? Or that the kid will instantly show they have autism as soon as they're born? So there's no need to worry, every good scientific study on vaccines hasn't found anything problematic. As for getting sick afterwards, same story, although in some cases people can get light flu symptoms and such for a day or two as their immune system learns what to do.
@ajb43666 жыл бұрын
Why is it the effectiveness of the flu vaccine last year was 10%. Why does the US and Canada have more sick people, physical and mental, than ever. If you take the vaccines than are not you protected from diseases. A ruling recently concluded a young girl health was damaged by a vaccine. A senior former cdc person exposed they were hiding the real data about vaccines.

On the topic of themerisol, it is no more mercury than water is hydrogen. The chemical formula for themerisol is C9H9HgNaO2S. It is a compound molecule that contains Mercury in its build-up. Anyone who knows anything about chemistry (which it seems most anti-vaccine proponent do not) understand that a compound containing an element generally has vastly different chemical properties than its individual elements. For example, Hydrogen being a flammable gas and oxygen being a relatively inert liquid.

I remember reading a health book for kids that used visual metaphors to explain how bodily systems work. They were pretty good, too. To explain vaccines, they represented the immune system as soldiers protecting the body, pathogens as invading soldiers, and vaccines as weakened enemy soldiers sent in to let the defending soldiers train in how to fight them. I've always been fascinated by how literal this metaphor actually is.

@@therealeikichionizuka tbh its understandable, due to the missinformation regarding the vaccine, the poor management on making studies on it, and the documentary "plandemic" people began to be skeptical on the vaccine, specially since you have to take a couple of them just to fight 1 disease, and also due to the fact that the media didnt discuss the possibility of it Leaking from a LAB that studied types of corona viruses in Wu Han and just focused in the market theory, but sometimes i feel they are too supersticious on it, at least people know the vaccine isnt made nor is it supposed to harm them but the disease

@@cefu8492 definitely. I just say listen to your government. Even if they do s***y things, at the end of the day, they’re still here to protect you. Literally, anti vax choose not to look at the many people who are fine after the vaccine and look at the one person whose heart has exploded. Similar with covid. Ignoring the deaths, and focusing on people who have survived.
