That supercharger whine, sounds so friggin incredible. That’s my 1 and only regret about owning the Vortech. The whine mine puts off is to damn quiet. Also I wouldn’t mind actually driving a twin screw to compare the two. Damn though, that sound yours puts off alone makes me jealous.

Been thinking about either dropping a turbo or supercharger kit. This has made lean more to the supercharger route. It sounds clean!
@upcomingvrgames84656 жыл бұрын
Same here, the whine of the supercharger sounds much better to me than the flutter of the turbo. Also the power is very linear which means no turbo lag! Definitely would go for the supercharger.
@tammyforbes21016 жыл бұрын
Keep in mind superchargers are harder on the engine they take away some power to add even more power. Like it takes 30hp to turn the charger to make 90hp which adds more strain on the engine where a turbo doesn’t take anything to make power it only adds power.
@shona55126 жыл бұрын
My brother in law has a Cosworth supercharger kit on his GT86 and it is perfect. It really compliments the cars character and purpose.. It's not meant to be a fast car, it's meant to be a B Road bomber, and having instant power delivery is perfect for that. I personally will always go for turbocharged cars because I like a laggy boost build up and then getting it all at once, however if I owned this car, I would definitely choose a supercharger over a turbocharger.

This makes me smile. I've been wanting more power since putting real rubber on the car, and hardly anyone puts decent reviews with video (This community is so fixated on numbers without showing application!). If you went by the forum alone you'd never go near a Sprintex 210. This re-affirms that supercharging is viable and just as exciting. On another note; my 4th crunches and has been for about a year any time I come into it over 4000RPM. Oddly enough, if I spent a minute rowing the gears with rev matching (literally 5th, 4th, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 4th, etc), the fluid seems to heat up and it stops crunching until I turn the car off and embark on another adventure.
