Thank you so much. Yes I am from Cluny. I finished my x std in 1993. Incidentally Sr Maria Theresa the principal who gave me the admission into LKG and the my first job as the school counsellor invited me to share information on my work and ideas with all their schools in Karnataka, Pondicherry and Goa.

I am glad you agree with my views and my work. It is an uphill task but the need of the hour and something that has to be addressed. As a counsellor I meet so many children who are either suicidal or under severe stress because of the hopeless educational pressures on them. There are many longitudinal studies that have actually proved that the students who score above 90% actually dont make it big in life,.It is the "average" academic performer who really succeeds in life.

The postive aspect here is that it instills the child with CONFIDENCE and INSPIRATION even before they know the meaning of these words. Teaching methods like these can take kids way beyond our imagination. Shame very few people see its potential!

Inspiring video!! Great work done by your team! It is nothing less than a renaissance in the education field. I want to add one or two more things: I think it is a must that children along with other things must be thought about the of the great moral, cultural and spiritual values of the great Indian civilization to instill a sense of pride in them. I see that in recent times, Indian youth are ashamed of their own civilization and try to mimic the west. The situation must change!!

geetha, nice to hear from you. Every city has some services that cater to visually challenged. or youcould get in touch with a local university and request them that you would like to act as the scribe for anyone who is differently abled. I guess that will help. Hope this information is useful.

Thank you for taking time to comment on the video. I am confident that the change will happen sooner than later. So many parents have been option for schools that are child friendly... the demand will make conventional schools wake up and pay attention.

This is very good approach.. Really the need of country... I wound like to add some points of my own view., How many of our Rural teachers exactly know what is differential or Integral calculus, or any other basic things,(since I am from rural I know the reality), what I wanted to say is they just skip which they are not clear about this is not only in rural but in max this happens, So, When the teacher doesn't know it, how come his student will get it from him? So he/she starts mugging up.

This is not only in rural schools but in most schools. The average teacher is the least motivated and lack knowledge and exposure. Anyone can pass a BEd in the current system ....Its disgusting to say the least. This is why clear planning and training are essential.

Whoever this MIKE TUDOR Author is who has taken so much of his precious time to write Junk about AARTI C RAJARATNAM'S AWESOME DYNAMIC presentation about holistic education and creating a new structure for future education, clearly seems to have lost all optimism in his own life and the ability to perceive difficulties as challenges and work around them. Kindly take a minute to step aside and try to make a single difference in your on life you will realize how much effort is needed.

@saashpr12 жыл бұрын
TO MIKE TUDOR - FYI Aarti Rajaratnam has developed schools in villages with the same new holistic curriculum all over India which count up to more than 5000 schools already. Kindly get your facts straight before you put up junk about her not dealing with the poor man's issue. Get your perspectives on your own life straight before you point out to others.

i feel bad about the ignorance of our people. there are only 70 views and two likes for someone who is talking about ways to change the future in a good way...but if the same time span was given to a song the number of veiws would be in 5 to 6 digits..this ignorance has to be eradicated first ...

aarti.you were teaching using a puppy ,an apple etc.in a classroom.what happens when you teach abt a lion/a fox,or a seasonal fruit.How do you teach this?You are unmarried,hence no committments.How can you expect a lady with commttments (husband,kids,a family)follow the principles that you think need to be followed.You have servants at your beck and call.You talk and work for fame,others work for a living.Its there bread and butter.If they were to take a puppy to school,thats their last day

Ma'am,A smile comes from within but what do you do when elders in the family take off that smile from a child,permanently.leave alone million smiles,the child forgets to smile intoto.Check within your family and the truth is there within.Some elders lack moral, cultural and spiritual values and you need to teach the elders before anything. Try getting a single smile into a shattered family's face and then talk abt million smiles through holistic education-TALK SENSE AND STOP THE CRAP!!!!!!!!!
@miketudor572412 жыл бұрын
Pls put a stop to all the crap that you talk and do not encourage poor parents to take heed of what you say,and do not encourage parents to send tigers and lions and puppies and apples to school.You are famous,but let fame not override you.Its time you've understood certain things ,but let me tell you,every bit of what you say in your programme is nothing short of SELF-GLORIFICATION.STOP IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
