She is so calm, collected and spirited in every sentence she articulated. Let us have more of the western population be invited into her ideas & understanding her perpective. She said the truth. I live in a young & progressive country with a more than 500 years history of being colonies 4 major powers of the past & present. No doubt that we are doing a whole lot better than Sierra Leone, there remains elements in society & nature are not in place as they should have been. The west continue to dictate what is good & what is bad according to their perpective; lots of times without regard to our domestic situation. Well done Mallence !

Nzings Dee, that is not how demographic transition works. As your standard of living rises your birth rate will inevitably drop off. As small a thing as a pension system can dramatically reduce birthrate. On the other hand, countries with a lot of conflicts and high level of poverty will almost always have a high birthrate. It is not about some mysterious force but logic, a high standard of living and a safe society means that almost all children will survive to adulthood and a healthy pension system means that that you do not have to rely on your children take care of you when get to old to work. There is also a tendency that after a conflict the birthrate will rise, like the baby-boomers after the second world war.

I cried so bad in the middle of this speech I had to stop the video to make a break. It breaks my heart to hear this and how degrading it is to Africa what we’re doing for centuries … I knew most of the information she said and had an awareness … but this now just hit me again and real bad……

Her voice is very soothing and pretty, yet cuts me hard and deep. Her message is something I have wondered myself as well, but never truly searched for an answer. And I'm affraid its meaning fell away from those people. She feels like she can move the world with just a sentence. I would like to see a world in a thousand years and see Africa thrive and live without being robbed constantly.

@BritWit13 жыл бұрын
No my dear. She has already moved the world with her speech. Those people in that room were enraptured, they will never forget her. Something (even if miniscule) from that lesson will stay with each and every one of them. Walk in her shoes, with her melanin and then you may think differently. In order to be understood, seek to understand
@BritWit13 жыл бұрын
You yourself said you never truly looked for the answer, well here it is, she is telling it. How many times has a woman been doubted, and yet changed the world. Otherwise we should have told Rosa Parks to sit down(no civil rights advancements) and Madame Curie to stay at home in her kitchen (No radium, no x-rays). They were the 🥇 first.

Gadaffi tried, and by causing instability among the nations, they caused us to turn against one another. The people of Libya are constantly killing one another to determine who will control the oil plants. As a result of our inability to care for ourselves and our preference for Western countries to assist us, Morocco African nation is being paid to killing thousands of Africans who are fleeing to their shores in search of a better life or sell Africans to arab countries as slaves to work them. UAE, will take your passport as soon as your arrive especially if you came from Africa and some Asian countries. They won't give you an indefinite but you will work in their gulag. You're worse than him if you think somebody's "blood" makes them say such nonsense. This is certainly a successful example of racist parents brainwashing their child to grow into an adult with such narrow minded perspective, not god or satan or any of that okay? I have the same skin color and I feel 180 degrees different from this man. Stop making this about blood, and stop using this argument to suit your own agenda.
