She changed my life. I honestly don’t know if I would still be here today if it wasn’t for her. She was the only one that would help me. She never stops searching for ways to help people. She thought that I also had a problem with my ears and referred me to a different doctor for my ears. To no surprise, the incredible dr. Debbie was right! Forever greatful to her. She is my inspiration.

I think I would have taken my life around 30ish with all the pain If not for her. I flew to MI and saw Dr Debbie. My eyes weren’t that far off but very sensitive and it was torture. Local eye docs won’t help at all unless you insist and know about it. Thank you for all you do!

She is also my husband's doctor. He was also seen for a time by another optometrist who claimed to have knowledge of this solution, but she can't hold a candle to the amazing Dr. Debra Feinberg. My husband has Mild Traumatic Brain Injury, PTSD, anxiety and through Dr. Feinberg's exams, we found that he has a hole in his semicircular canal. She will also recommend Bose noise canceling headphones. She has done so much for the betterment of our family, just by prescribing my husband his own 'magic glasses.'

I found a Dr. near me that diagnosed this condition in me and it has changed my life - true story. I was having issues driving on the highway and I no longer have these problems now because of my glasses that have prism in them. No ENT Doctors could help me and i have had MRis, CAT Scans etc. This is real and I totally recommend getting this eye test if you have ANY of these symtoms in this video. My eye doctor is in Illinois - contact me if you would like more info. You have nothing to lose.l And BTW there are lots of Facebook groups there that are for people that have dizziness issues and nobody is taling about this eye glass solution. Makes me wonder how many of them would benefit from these glasses...

If I have this it would change my life. 12 years of this. I have the same symptoms and always dismissed as anxiety and panic disorder except after years of exposure and forcing myself to drive on the same roads again and again it still happens and exposure is not working. The longer on the road the worse it is and forget about highways. I will get tested now for this and insist before I go for any more medications or treatments. Will be so happy if there's an answer.

Thank you Dr Feinberg for speaking up about binocular vision disorders! I have both strabismus and amblyopia and didn't know that I couldn't see in 3D until I read Dr Oliver Sacks' piece on Sue Barry in "The New Yorker" in 2006. We need more people to talk about this issue.

If you think, that a prism can help you. Just wear cover one eye for a few hours, if the symptoms you have e.g. dizzyness get better or even disappear, then there's a high chance that prism glasses help you.

An interesting concept. Prism glasses fixes it?

In the right instances prism glasses can really help people eg. stroke or brain injury. But, if they are not the right glasses they can do more herm than good. I was diagnosed with with convergence insufficiency some years ago and given prisms. They totally changed my life - for about 2 weeks. Then I was straight back to square one. I was actually hyperopic and had been misdiagnosed.. I'm sure I'm not the only one. With learning disabilities like dyslexia and ADHD the possibility of hyperopia seems to be nearly always overlooked in favour of convergence insufficiency which can be a result of hyperopia and the stress on the eyes. If it is not adequately tested for then the underlying cause may go untreated and the wrong glasses given. Initially these glasses may appear to help as they instantl reduce stress on the eye - I know. I've been there. But many of the problems come back as the issues with close.up work are still there..

Our patients are urged to call their NeuroVisual Specialist if they feel symptoms returning. Often times it means the prescription needs to be fine-tuned and it's not unusual for some patients to need more than two or three adjustments. We hope you followed up with the doctor for your return of symptoms and that you're doing better. Wishing you health.

I wish locally in my home country in Egypt and all around the world, that there would be optometrists who properly diagnose BVD, it hurts to be patient, searching for proofs and reasons at my age to tell my parents to invest in traveling to the US for a diagnosis which is just only a possibility. Or what if people don't have money to travel and hard for them to work cause they suffer? And what makes it harder for me is that I already tried so many solutions without any good results, and every optometrist/neuro-opt I see keeps telling me my eyes are fine and they neglect the condition without proper diagnosis. I wish to go get my diagnosis, end this suffer of my head which really impacts my abilities of self control because of the pain, and share the word as much as I can about it + encourage doctors to go learn how to diagnose it. Man, I wish.. and I hope I can soon.

I feel like this lady is a grifter. She’s trying to give the impression that she’s discovered this ‘method’ of prescribing prism but prism has been prescribed for YEARS. Your eye allignment is assessed routinely as part of your eye exam so her saying that people have come over all over the world to her practice makes me feel like something doesn’t add up. I feel like she’s marketed this problem to be a lot more serious then it is. Nobody’s letting this work die, the work of Orthoptists(binocular vision specialists) is being carried out every single day. Ima say it again, grifter.
@otiebrown999911 ай бұрын
I agree.
@rebekahbrown9964Ай бұрын
So just to clarify, Dr Debby Fienberg is the physician who has been researching, pioneering and treating BVD in order to teach other neurovision medical specialists for the YEARS you’re describing. If you’ve seen other people talk about BVD and prism lenses as a primary treatment, it’s due to her influence. Optometrists come to the Metro Detroit area to be trained by her specifically, because she’s not a grifter, but thanks for boosting engagement on the video years after this was uploaded :)
@GoudaisgoudaАй бұрын
@@rebekahbrown9964 dunno why I’m entertaining this. 1) optometrists aren’t physicians. 2) again prisms have been used for YEARS to help relieve symptoms of binocular vision issues. 3) BVD Is a made up term to try encompass a range of binocular vision issues, find me a medical textbook that specifies what BVD is.
