The Tech Whiz-kids | Abrar Jawad & Safwan Rahman | TEDxDhaka

You can't imagine what's going on in the tech scene of Dhaka among a group of kids! They talk about Java, Arduino, Raspberry-Pie as if those are their playthings!
Abrar Jawad and Safwan Rahman are Students/ Education-and-R&D-Apprentices at "The Tech School". Abrar is 9 years old and Safwan is 11. Abrar specializes in programming in the Arduino IDE (coding in electronics, mechatronics and robotics projects). Safwan specializes in circuit, mechanic and the hardware development. Together they turn into an amazing team of makers.

I admire these kids, but the sad reality is, they represent the .000005% of our entire population....I would like to see more kids like them, I would like to see infrastructures that will encourage to think like them. Unfortunately, we don’t have the infrastructure and we don’t have a society that respects innovation and merit. Hence, these kids will have to leave this country eventually, if they want pursue their dreams...

yme4me There's nowhere I've mentioned he's a 'boy'..He has to be one and we all can see it..They spoke in clear English and personally I had no trouble understanding a single word they spoke..

Sir.I am 14 now, yet if I was in front of such a large audience I would have shivered and these kids were just 9 and 11. I am really curious to know when you were 9 how well you used to speak.That too if it was in front of 900+ selected audience.

You just pointed out the fact that a 9 year old mumbled in front of a very large crowd. I repeat, a nine year old. By the time he's your age he'd be giving hundreds of public talks. And you will be busy pointing out mistakes of people including kids..
