你有想過藉由自然來認識我們熟悉的台灣嗎？花藝大師凌宗湧和自然愛好者一起，通過參與和欣賞一件件自然設計美學作品，再一次以不同的視角認識了很多城市，包括台灣最自然而美好的面貌。通過「跟著花開去旅行」活動，他們真實感受了自然與城市，與人們之間密不可分的聯結，自然帶給我們的喜悅感同時也能傳遞給我們周圍的朋友，它就像是一種無形的聯結，將我們聚攏在一起。由於疫情的原因，無法出國的凌宗湧，選擇在台灣去感受本土的大自然風貌。令他感嘆的是，他發現，原來大自然自己創作的「藝術品」，遠比人為文藝創作還要美好，在大自然里我們永遠都是最謙卑的學徒。讓我們放慢腳步，去體驗，去感受最真實的自然，你會有意想不到的收穫。
Listen to Taiwan flower designer/Master of New Oriental Floral Design Aesthetics Alfie Lin shares how his lifestyle and optimism thrive in his life much like how flowers thrive in the wilderness.
Imagine on your daily commute, you step onto the bus on your route. Instead of being filled with advertising and passengers, it is filled with the ferns of your forest floor, the orchids on the rock cliffs, and greens from the mountain paths. This is the vision of Alfie Lin, a design artist that brings the colours of the land through leaves and blossoms to our daily life. Along with his team and students, they have travelled around the world and acquired a deeper understanding of design and aesthetic through blossoms and colours of the land.
Now with the world shut down by the pandemic, he is rediscovering the local natural beauty of Taiwan. What are Taiwan’s colours and aesthetic. It can be experienced in the subtropical forest floors and the first rays of sunshine in the morning. 淩宗湧打造從美學出發的國際花藝與園藝設計團隊，並帶領團隊不斷在專業層次及美學素養上尋求進步，探索花藝表現的各種可能。持著對大自然與花藝美學生活的熱愛， 建立了一種追求單純以人感覺為主的生活態度，近年亦擔任CN Flower西恩「跟著花開去旅行」花藝導師，引導人們在旅行中探索不同地域的人文及花藝，走訪足跡遍及世界各地。出版兩本著作《花藝大師到你家》、《每日美日》。 This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
