Chagossians SHOULD be allowed to return to their islands. It's THEIRS. Not British, and the Americans have no business being there either

The Unheard Truth: Geographically Chagos is on the same ridge with Maldives and closer 600km, but Mauritius is NOT, 2100km. Before slaves arrived to Chagos or Diego Gacia, South Maldivian travel and used to stay, planted coconut palms and others there - like its Maldivian backyard! Even long before WW1, Maldives King Claimed Portuguez Rulers it's their place. So Diego Gacia (including Chagos) should not be given to Mauritius- but to Maldives. Citizenship does not always rely on to your Birth place. Perhaps your family was there for work, after the place was taken from Maldives by French or Portuguez!

The truth is Sir Sewoosagur Ramgoolam gave the Chagos to Harold Wilson British Prime minister at 10 Downing street in exchange of Mauritius Independence as Geatan Duval of the Parti Mauricien was asking for a referendum to make Mauritius a full British territory and Mauritian with a full British Passport like the Falkland,Gibraltar,St Helana,Turks and Caicos,Cayman Island,Anguilla etc

How can he "give" something that isn't even his? The British were going to detach the Chagos Archipelago irrespective of whether they granted Mauritius independence or not. Harold Wilson essentially just informed SSR that the UK was going to carry out the detachment.

Ramgoolam didn't give anything away. The British held onto the islands and then decided to evict the Chagossians. What Mauritius IS guilty of is allowing the Chagossians to live in harsh poverty and not helping them like they should have

Go and cross check : if SSR was fully involved and full aware of the trade. Who others than SSR was involved??! SAJ as well???? The answer will be sooner or later revealed by the UK one day??? How much has been sold???! Is there any signed and agreed documents by the Mauritian Govt that UK government is sticking to their positions???! The truth should be revealed. It’s just not a trade??!
