I'm glad to have found this update. I missed a lot of tv from 2012 to 2019 so I'm glad that I found this show on on demand. He did a great job!

I just binge watched Season 1 of Alone. My first impression was this dude (Sam) was goofy and wouldn't last long. I was right about the goofiness. But clearly, I was wrong about everything else. He seems like a really good guy. I'm glad to hear he came back and won some cash. Human beings DON'T belong in cubicles.

I saw his goofiness but immediately recognised his comfort and mental strength. I was disappointed that he lost season 1 but sooo happy to see him win season 5. He deserved it.

He is goofy. But having a sense of humor is key to survival, very visible to both Sam and Alan.

It was the opposite for me. I was almost instantly sure he'd be one of the last guys to remain. Glad he came back and won in season 5.

He was funny..that's what drew me to him from day 1. I was shocked to see him even on the show. I thought sam sure had me fooled. My heart just was full of happiness when he won..well deserved young man!

Hey Sam! I loved your speech and I hope people listen! I grew up going camping with my family and had a Dad that took the time to help us love and understand nature. It’s one of things I’m the most thankful for. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences and wisdom with some many! Good Luck! ((Hugs))

Sam was a favorite of mine on Alone, it in is my top ranked show. I cheered for Sam, and I also really liked Fowler, and Roland that won last year, man he was a savage. But there were many very knowledgeable contestants, men and women. There were two really tough ladies on last year competing against Roland. Unfortunately, they just ran up against a machine. Roland killed a huge musk ox, and a porcupine. It's good to see Sam, glad your doing well, hope your family is fine.

I don't have much interest in the wilderness, I just find it boring. The wilderness can be explained through science and it isn't that exciting as some make it out to be.
