This is fascinating. I'm reading a book on Victorian Flower Meanings, that's what lead me to this wonderful video.

I'm really into flowers, this is so curious, I would love to do sort of a specification in this area of biology in the future. The idea of working with molecules of flowers and interactions with other kingdoms amazes me. Soo good speech, thanks for the pieces of information as well.

beyond the scientific knowledge, flowers play a huge role in healing ... the earth and ourselves ... she is speaking about what we SEE with our eyes, but there is much more too .. energetically, which can also be perceived and interacted with .. .

I love this kind of study, you will get to know the life of flowers and bees...that part of the world. Now days they spray chemicals like pesticides and green glow, which all of these are very dangerous for bees, which also making them away from the flowers. I personally as a florist I stopped using those products 8 years ago, and use natural water for the plants to shine naturally... and if I feel not healthy spraying it even to myself , I thought it will change the nature of the plant to. I don't even use hair spray for my own hair too:) I can't breath in hair spray...

That is good. I also know the conversion of wild meadows into monocultured crops like corn or soy really doesn't do native bees any good. Many showy bred flowers now are not rich in nectar and are difficult for the bees to even land on. This is why I mostly grow wild flowers, herbs, fruit trees, and occasionally veggies. Even a hedge of marigold or cosmos is practically maintenance free but the bees really need this. One plant I know they love is comfrey.

There are several dictionaries in 19th century that are considered as language of flowers . The main interesting is the dictionaries of 18 th century the meaning is different . I had explored a few of them much earlier than the book " Language of flowers " was written . I studied it because we wrote an article about the symbolism of ornamental painting in the monastery of the Beheading of John the Baptist. when I have read the book the language of Flowers for the first time it seemed to me that we partly used the same books . But we had explored more than author had mentioned .
