17:37 "Injustice is everywhere + forgiveness is needed everywhere...Hope is a lot better than hopelessness. And if youʻd like to have a beautiful + happy life, then you forgive + fill yourself with love. And, so using forgiveness as the doorway, peace becomes the way + love becomes the answer."

I'm not trying to make this about myself; but I myself have been wrongly incarcerated. I too found that forgiveness helped to beat the injustice. I once said "I forgive you" to one of the "guards"

If she and her new husband can find forgiveness and love then the little things that seem so grandiose in my life I shall try and see past. Each mountain or hurdle can be a lesson, or a destructive entity. I sometimes forget that when I'm hurt and feel the need to tell my side. It doesn't need to be told because I know the truth and that's all that matters. I must learn my own message as Sunny has. Sweet lady, I'm so glad that once in a while life gets it right for some.

I became interested in this lady's story when I read The Exonerated. I'm so glad it had a happy ending but the injustice she faced is despicable.

I saw the film some years ago.....she had a friend and I think she was the key person for her release from prison...she helped a lot when she was there...there were friends since she were small then they had to live apart...and they promised not fo forget at each other...

True forgiveness is not about releasing the offender. It's about the victim realizing they had the key all the time.

I just watched the film about you on Netflix and then went googling to find out more. I admire your philosophy of forgiveness and I'm in awe that you have managed to achieve that state of mind. But karma is a thing too and so I googled Mike Satz too. Turns out he's had an illustrious career but he has no loving family of his own. Just saying xxx

Christians always believe that God has to give and provide and forgive like it's his duty to do all that! Yes he does that whenever and with whomever he wants, but not for everyone because at the end of the day this life is a test not a free gift.

God Does Offer Forgiveness and Love to Whomever Comes to Him Salvation is a Free Gift, You Cannot Earn it If You Could, Then Why Did Jesus Have to Pay the Ultimate Price for Our Sins? It is Finished Either You Believe That Or You Don't...Do You Believe God Forgives You of Your Sins? If You Do, Imagine The People Who Hurt You Beleives the Same Thing...is that Possible? With God All Things Are Possible.

@@SD_Chosen i forgot to add someting. there's a difference between giving materialistic things like money and giving spiritual things like forgiveness and peace and inner happiness. the first one is for eveyone no matter how good or bad they are. but the second one is for those who come to him and follow his words. also God promissed he will forgive those who sincerely repent but if they did something that hurts or offends someone else they have to fix that with those people in the first place. if they don't do that god will never forgive them.

@@latusalihyasalim4872 I Understand and I Stand in Agreement With You My Friend I Have Hurt Others, And As Much as I Try to Make Amends and I Have Repented, But They Still Hate Me And I Understand...I Just Keep Trusting God to Let Them See My Change, to Soften Their Heart to Forgive Me for Being That Person I Hate Now... I Also Understand Things Take Time, When You Have Hurt People Deeply, I Just Need God's Grace, Everything Else Will Work Out With God...I Can't Speak for Anyone Else, But I Am Extremely Remorseful, And Regretful.

Another example of just how broken the criminal justice system is. incarceration is very important to the system. Not because of guilt but because each inmate is worth $80,000.00 per year to it. We are talking big business here folks.

The book "Two Truths and a Lie" examines the case in minute detail. Sonia Jacobs may have been a vegetarian hippie, but she was also involved in dealing drugs with her boyfriend Jesse Tafero, and while it hasn't been proven that she fired the gun in the murder, she knows that Jesse was guilty and she was, at least, an accessory to the crime. She is not the innocent victim she claims to be. She should be wishing forgiveness from the families of the murdered police officers who were the true victims of her actions.

What a powerful women, however the state of Florida should have paid her for wrongfully convicting her and paid her for wrongfully convicting her husband and executing him the way they did.

I met jesse tafero in the death row visiting area at the Florida prison where he was executed. I met jesse tafero in 1981. I am a 57 year old lady and jesse tafero was like family to me. I believe that Sonia jacobs is guilty and jesse tafero was not Sonia's husband as she claims. Jesse and Sonia were not together long enough to even be considered a common law couple. Jesse tafero was my boyfriend. Rest in peace jesse tafero.
