I think this should be titled "How to Be Successful" 1. For every problem you face someone else has already solved it or can help you solve it. (Books, Authors, Peer Group) 2. Love your mission. Enjoying something and loving something is different. When you love what you do, you have more energy when you’re done. 3. There is a price to be paid for just getting by. 4. Do Your Sets And Reps. 5. Become an absolute expert/master at your craft. Increase your knowledge. 6. Surround yourself with supportive people.

ONE OF MY FAVORITE TED TALKS. Thank you Mr. Price for sharing what you have learned, not only in those 50 books but along your life. I wonder why there are so many comments not liking this talk? I really value his TED Talk maybe because I lived through the same errors. Jeff's advice is powerful and saved me at least 10 years of learning by summarizing what we all want to find in the books we read. As simple as HAVE A MISSION, DO THE SETS and REPS, and DON'T LEFT YOUR TRIBE so I can re-align my thoughts and works. On the Internet you can find quantity, but this talk is just quality of advice. His is an honest reflection of a life, whose purpose is to save some headaches to you. Don't get me wrong, no offense, but I guess if you guys are too young you just can't get it. Ya'll have a great and blessed day.

This is one of my favorite talks. His story was very relatable, although this isn't the best title for the talk. He spoke more about recovering from failure and his three reasons were a highlight of the talk. Overall excellent video and now I wonder what he'd say after finishing all 50 books.

This was 20 minutes of him patting himself on the back. Why was it called 50 books in 50 weeks? He never talked about that. What a waste of time.

It wasn't that bad. I admit it, the title can be a little misleading, but he shared what he learned despite not having finished all 50 books

Ok I think I get where you are coming from with the doing but not enjoying why you are doing. The talk was definitely food for thought. Act of Valor is a favorite movie of mine as well. Thanks for presenting This on TED.

I thought this talk was pretty good. I don't know what the hate is all about. People should be grateful that these speakers willingly share what they've learned in order to help others out. Perhaps, people are looking for easy hacks that will give them instant results (I've seen other TED speakers being berated in the comments aswell). Well, unfortunately, the world doesn't work that way.

Most college classes, which are super hard. Make you read maybe 1/4 of a hard science book in a semester. What makes you think you can read a book a day or a week and learn anything, or remember anything. LOL Silly.
