I've had my PS5 for less than 2 years and the disc drive is already broke. They request $250 to send in for repair which is a laughable rip off. They're crazy if they think consumers want to spend over $1,000 on their garbage that is declining in quality over the years.

@@DanielHernandez-df6xk No clue, turned on the PS5 a few days ago and it couldn't read discs. They can be inserted and ejected just fine however. I'm going to buy a new disc drive and see if I can replace it myself. If that fails though I'm fucked 🤷🏼‍♂️

@@mouse_bone My guess is that from all the travelling the disc drive could've received damage from impacts if it wasn't protected properly. Though if you haven't cleaned it, maybe dust build up could be causing problems? I recommend you give it proper clean just to be sure, it's suprisingly easy to do with a youtube tutorial, you just need to buy the right screwdriver. Also if you travel frequently you should look into a ps5 carrying case/bag. I usually travel with mine 2-3 times a year and I put it in the factory box, but I'm looking into getting a carry bag for it myself as it's a lot more convenient. Anyway I hope you're able to fix the issue without too much hassle, good luck man.

The graphics and performance aren't an issue that you can sell on anymore. The fact that it's digital only and has a measly 2tbs of storage makes it a downgrade from the original. If they want to sell a new console, they need to do something crazy that actually affects players' quality of life. For example, they could try to make a device with some unfillably absurd amount of storage. 300tbs of storags on a ps5 might actually make something like this worth getting.

Might as well buy a PC your almost there basically . Also build quality seems to be worse in the ps5 vs the ps4 since alot of people I know have reported problems with there ps5 over heating having to get a whole new one .

One bad take after another on the pro console. They're expensive to make, and the PS5 price hasn't come down like previous gens because component & manufacturing costs haven't come down. So extra GPU plus AI upscaling will cost more. You don't have to like it & you don't have to buy it, but that's just the way it is. It's also a niche product compared to the base console, Sony will want a profit margin rather than use it as a loss leader. PS6 will probably cost the same & be full digital. The console market is in a difficult place now. Nintendo's launch price for Switch 2 will probably be higher than people are expecting too.

A bug I’ve noticed for awhile now is that if you proc poison on a critical hit then it doesn’t trigger your buffs. Dunno if this is well known or not Ex: 14:14
