These exercises worked splendidly for me when I weighed 240 pounds and went to the gym my first time. I'm 193cm tall, which I think is.. uhm, like 7ft(?) but 240 pounds still meant that I had a little cushion on my stomach - still I managed to do most of these exercises and with time I could do them all. Today, these are still good exercises but I do them more advanced (see his video for 44 best exercises).

Good stuff - excellent example of a how beginners can apply an effective calisthenics program. I am a huge advocate of the use of calisthenics and unilateral bodyweight training. Close grip push-ups are hard as heel in the beginning. I couldn't even do one when I started, but after a while I started doing 5 at a time and now 10 or more
