Hope you guys are writing your own stuff. I'm a songwriter in Nashville. Get your publishing company application together, file it and join BMI. Make sure you do a 360 ownership deal with you all as equal partners. Don't take advances. Own your own masters. Only sign distribution deals. Hire a good manager, agent, attorney and accountant. You guys are the real deal. You deserve not to be fcked over by talent sharks. All the best in your career. 💀

I used to do PR for bands in the mid-to-late 90’s. My favorite band is Van Halen. I am BLOWN-AWAY by these guys!!!! Their musicality is unreal to be so young! The only advice I’d give is 1. Get more mics so everyone can sing backup, and 2. Sing to your audience like you’re playing Madison Square Garden (no matter where you’re playing). Yes i agree.. its understandable that their attention is drawn towards each other (common in young bands), as opposed to forward facing and playing to the crowd. Backups are always a plus and especially of you can get the crowd to sing along too. Good job guys! Stick to it and remember you are performing to the crowd not each other
@Noneyabiz001 Жыл бұрын
You’re not that hard of a sell. But everybody’s different, I guess. Don’t get me wrong these kids aren’t bad but they need a lot of work and they are off to one Hell of a start. The guitar player is ok he BS’d the solos and the drummer blew the intro. With more practice though these guys could be great, but don’t over inflate them. As for the mics, their at a high school talent show, did you really expect the production to be great?? Im sure they had what the school provided them. I’m sure the band would have preferred a full sound system and light show and maybe some video too.

@@OxBlitzkriegxO Trust me, I've performed in bands, and you should NEVER play in front of an audience that's not into your genre. It's the most discouraging experience, totally draining. People will tell you to take any gig you can get when you're starting out, but that's bad advice. Guilting your aunties and coworkers to come out to see you play something they would never listen to at home is just torture for everyone.

@John-dv7de Came on here looking for this comment! He touched his hair so many times before he even sang one note, I would think..."OK. There. That looks fine, now leave it alo....Noooo! Damn it!" It was maddening, and gave off a vibe of insecurity and discomfort, which is clearly not the case once he starts singing...for a minute I thought maybe he has a tick? Or perhaps self-soothing his nerves? Either way, I hope he outgrew this compulsion eventually, cuz it is super distracting and annoying AF.

Always communicate with each other and listen to each other. Just like a relationship, you all bring that little something special to music. This kind of talent put together needs to last as long as possible. Y’all are gonna do great things. Keep up the great work. This was one of the first albums I bought with my own money when I was a kid, and these songs from the DLR era of Van Halen hold a lot of memories for me. I hope these kids get where they want to go with their music bc it looks like there's a lot of potential here.
