The reason many of these products cost so much is because companies know they they can get a way with charging what they like as they know women need these products. This is especially true for baby stuff.

Most of the stuff they showed are not essential stuff. Men don't expect women to buy and epilator, dry shampoo, red light therapy gadgets, etc. These are women who are expected to use this stuff by other women. Men would be like: tampons can stay, period stuff sure. Are you on your period?

There’s no penalty, that’s just ‘woke’ BS. Women earn less bc they are typically the ones that take time off work when their kids are sick, leave early, work part time/less hours compared to men, etc. Men earn more bc once they have a kid, they want to provide as much as they can for their family so they pick up extra hours, overtime, etc. There’s nothing wrong with either one, it’s not “PENALTY”

Yes, and those things aren't on the same frustration level as menstrual products or diapers, but there is a ton of societal pressure on women to look beautiful which is its own type of tax. Especially depending on what type of profession you have. They did choose more niche beauty items, but makeup and the pressure to use it can be expensive enough.
@julianmarco41854 күн бұрын
@@trinitybernhardt9944 Men have the same kind of pressure put on them as well. But there is a difference: women judge and feel judged by mostly other women. Men, as long as you don't smell like a gym bag, would be like: Men sure.

As soon as my son was 1 and could stand, i stayed potty training him. The way i trained my dog to pee outsidei did the same. As soon as he woke up, i took him to the toilet and held him over it. To help (so he could see that pee was coming out) i tried out putting his hand in warm water (like the prank thing people do) and to my surprise it worked. He learned fairly quick. A few times there was almost set backs when my mom put a pull up on over night(which i don't blame since she baby sat over night when i worked) or his dad putting one on Also. But it didn't hinder it to much

18:47 I think I understand the “logic” behind the paycheck side of things being this way. As with anything involving money, everything is an investment. The more sure something seems, the safer others can feel in supporting it, or throwing money its way. While I believe in skill, determination, and dedication, it’s tough for some to invest in even that if there’s the thought that the investment being made could be up and gone at what could be the worst possible time. Then, there’s also still the old ways of thinking that a woman likely or should have a man in her life to provide for her or is sure to be making more than enough to support their family. While I can understand it from an investment angle, it’s too cold and calculated. In some cases, people can’t be treated like simple numbers. Lives and the future literally at stake when humans can’t see how inhuman we’re being
