That's not what turning the other cheeks means at all, not in the slightest. Turning the other cheek is not getting revenge for example, if someone insults you. Responding in humility to not retaliate out of pride.
@samiloveeАй бұрын
@@ghoulzi2127 the full quote ends in offer him your other cheek, equates to let them do as they will. in this case that would be the be doing nothing allowing said instance to take place not only in this scenario and reaffirming for a continued pattern of the same behavior when it comes to future impulses ie the perpetrator got away with it once he can continue without repercussion or correction.

Once I saved a woman like that, a homeless guy was trying to get agressive with her, he threw away what he was eating and try to grab her just because she was ignoring him, I still don't know why but at that moment my body moved on it's own and I pushed him and told him to go away and stared directly into his eyes, later I realized I could've gotten into a fight and I didn't know if the dude had a weapon, good thing he just left, thinking back it's a bit scary to think I risked my life for a stranger, but at that moment I just couldn't ignore it, I really started to get mad at that guy seeing how he was treating a weaker person like that, my blood was just boiling at that moment so I guess my body moved on it's own

@@DCMultiverseFan Thank you... So very much for the reassurance of this. And, for the revelation of you also being part of our spectrum. Only a few days after this most recent Thanksgiving did my life actually begin to take a turn for the better. As of the 27th of last month, I finally acquired a regular day-to-day monetary paying job, after never having had one of those during the entirety of my latter teenage years, nor at any point in my adulthood. So, to say which I am elated for the very first time since the month before the tragic September 11th attacks, is a major league big understatement. And even though this job was only a temporary position, I feel it opened a door for me to many more employment opportunities. Once again, you have my humble thanks.

A lot of parents especially first timers are ignorant to the dangers. You can't leave your child alone, ever. Unfortunately a friend of mine learned that the hard way when she left her six year old and five month old in her car so she could run into the gas station to pay for gas. 😢
@elenabogarin2 жыл бұрын
I don’t understand this either. I may come off as over paranoid to some but idc. I never leave my kids alone. I’m baffled when I see this even when I go to the park I see kids alone playing and parents sitting on the bench on their phone. Why aren’t they paying attention?! Anyone can take your kid! I would never…. I’m sorry. My eyes are on my kids 24/7.
