Because a physical altercation with a gun involved could lead to someone dying or several people dying? Like the perp could have reached for the gun and the guy trying to stop it and the perp are now rolling around a busy train full of people with a loaded gun? Maybe take like 2 more seconds to think critically and where the situation could have led to. This lady was doing calculations in her head while all the bonehead commenters can't seem to add 2+2. The good Samaritan got lucky it didn't get out of hand. Any cop worth a crap will tell you if you're faced with a loser with a gun threatening your life the last thing you should do is try and take the gun from them. 9 times outta 10 that's gonna end up in gunshot wounds.

I have had weapons pulled on me a few times and always makes me mad, it isn't courage it is just genetics. I have heard some of the sheep say "it's stupid" and if you are all about self preservation then it certainly is, but you are not thinking you are acting or reacting.

It's called fight or flight instincts. Some people are born with one or the other. Also deer in the headlights reactions is a thing. First responders are trained to spring into action as well as police, firemen and armed forces. Martial artists are also included in this based on discipline and experience. People can learn to fight back. Those that do not are either smarter than the rest of us or just cowards. Some folks unfortunately are born to be slaughtered whether they realize it or not and that's a cold truth.

Kinda obvious . You're on a train and you got a dude who unarmed someone all cool right. Personally I would have been scared what if the taller dude reached over and tried to grab his gun and the man shot the guy in self defense. He deserved it sure but I wouldn't want to see a dead guy on the ground. Also, he was making me extremely anxious because he was waving the gun around and his finger was real close to the trigger. Before the voice-over pointed out who the aggressor was I thought it was the short guy cause he was waving it around and yelling.

I was at a corner store checking out like 2 months ago when a random junkie started screaming at me, pulled his mask down and grabbed my mask down and coughed in my face laughing, then hit me multiple times with a goddamn phone book, for literally no reason. After all of that I finally got sick of it and yelled to get the fuck out of the store. When he started to walk out there were a few dudes about to walk in and overheard only the last thing I said “get the fuck out and don’t ever fucking come back here”. The dudes walking in immediately say to me “yo chill out lady stop harassing him”. I was like are you for real. Wtf. Like they don’t know anything about what happened before and instantly took his side. It was so damn fusterating. The junkie, like a retard not knowing he was on security cam, upon hearing the guys take his side yells to the guys walking in “film this lady she’s crazy! She attacked me!”. I was so pissed. I then told the guys what happened and said “you have no idea what that guy just did”. They responded “well he ain’t hitting you right now so just drop it you don’t need to make it a whole thing”. I’m like yo wtf. Some big ass grown adult man on drugs assaults a 5’ 2” tiny underage high school girl (im visible disabled with a cane), multiple times, for no reason and suddenly when I finally say something back, then someone says something and it’s shaming me for asking a grown ass man to stop assaulting me. When I walked back in the store the clerk totally had my back and backed me up telling the guys that they should’ve stuck up for me instead of sticking up for a dude assaulting disabled girls. The entire time I finished checking out the dudes kept looking at me and saying nasty things about me under their breathe about how I was “a crazy bitch” and “she probably just being overdramatic”. The clerk had called the cops when I was getting the guy to leave. The cop said “oh he does this all the time there’s no point filing charges cuz they’ll just let him go in an hour”. I filed charges anyways cuz fuck him. I got a call that night from an officer. The guy was covid positive when he arrived at the holding cell. A week and a half later I start coughing and getting a fever. I’m immune compromised, had just had a regularly scheduled surgical procedure, and the guy pulled my mask down to cough directly in my face while laughing like a crazy person. I was diagnosed with covid. I still have remaining symptoms today. Covid damaged my lungs and killed off a portion of cells in them and now I will have an extremely bad cough and plursy for a year or so. Those dudes are just like that dumb Karen on the train. Exactly. /end rant Sorry for ranting it just pisses me off so much.

There is some science behind this. Usually in tense and life or death situations people either fight back or run or freeze up, clearly everyone on the train didn't have any combat experience at all and were probably scared shirtless. It sucks ass but it happens. In plane crashes it's also known to happen where some of the passengers and flight crew and such in shock that they freeze up. Which is not useful when you have 90 seconds to get put before the fuselage explodes, for further info on this please what epic how to's video on how to survive a plane crash. It's really funny btw.

Lady, a toddler with limited motor function playing with a gun could easily kill someone, much less a FULLY GROWN ADULT WITH INTENT TO KILL. Some people are stupid smh Edit: It's also worth mentioning that columbine, parkland, and other similar mass shootings where many people died were done by people significantly younger than 22, and I'd assume many murderers, terrorists, and many other violent criminals are also under the age of 22.

To be perfectly honest, from what I saw, it didn’t seem like he needed any help. The video didn’t show how he got the gun away from the robber, but once he had the gun, he had it well away from him, had the robber pinned up against the doors and the robber looked scared to death actually. Aaron Ramsden No. He was blessed and lucky. LaPierre could have gotten himself and other people hurt or killed. It just fortunate that this situation ended as it did. Greater love hath no man than this... There are times when this action is necessary. It not about being a cowards or a badass. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
