The 1980's was truly a great time to be a teen! I really mean that. You were catered to by all industries. Fashion, Video Games, Movies, Music you name it! It was sooo good to be young then. A real and true sweet spot in America's history. I still feel very blessed to have been a part of that time.

Since "Teen Wolf" is based off a supernatural comedy from the 80s, imagine what would happen if "Teen Witch" became a series? However, a tv-show version of "Teen Witch" would probably look too much like "The Secret Circle," unless some changes were made to the original "Teen Witch" story to make it dramatic enough as a TV show without making it look like a rip-off of "The Secret Circle."

It was haha but still good. That random girls locker room dance outbreak was sooo... random. It kinda takes elements of other 80s movie later or sixteen Candles and that corny Footloose movie
I was thinking along the same lines. Last night I watched teen wolf. In the 80s that general script is what sold. I can see how other writers would model their scripts similar to one another. I was seeing the parallels with Teen Wolf.

I think I watched this as a teenager in the early 2010s when I was really into Wicca; my therapist recommended it to me (warning me it was pretty corny). Like a lot of movies out there, it's bad, but it's fun! Also, is that the church organist from Sixteen Candles?

Trailers back then...they often gave away far too much of the story.
@caitlinjane929 жыл бұрын
Sizeet But this one didn't give away the fact that Louise almost lost her best friend due to making her own wishes come true. Obviously the director of the movie didn't want to exclude the fact that sometimes using power to gain what you want can still have bad consequences.

But honestly think about it after she like was no longer magic he still liked her but did he still really like her for her or because she was still quote-unquote the popular girl. Yeah what would have happened the next day after the dance was over and it went back to school. I think Brad would have liked her for herself. Because he was starting to like her anyways while she was tutoring him.

You likely came across it the way most of us did when it aired heavily on premium cable. I can’t imagine any of the premium cable broadcasters paid a lot for this movie because of how much it flopped for a low budget movie and how much the studio that distributed it was sold soon after.

It is because it was made by a tiny independent studio that likely hoped that if the movie flopped at the box office, the investment in it would be recouped through video rental sales.

35 years old! It got mixed reactions from critics when it came out and I saw parts of this on tv growing up Some say the film virtually has no plot and they barely resolve anything by the end It's full of unmemorable musical numbers, product plugs, bad montages, and a predictable outcome It inoffensive at best Yet it's gained a cult status over time and it has a bouncy score Did much better on home video and overseas even airing on Freeform yearly during the Halloween season Plus there have been many homages as well as parodies There is a lot of charm though from Robyn Lively even the late Zelda Rubinstein It's total 1980s it almost hurts hehe it’s just you’ll forget it very quickly
