I love this scene so much where Scott howls and Isaac gets out of the trap, it always gives me the creeps. Just for the fact that it shows Scott is a true alpha and his howl makes Isaac "transform" and have the necessary strength to break out of the trap.

I think isaac already saw Scott as leader even in season 2. So when isaac went off on Derek for not knowing what to do about Cora, Peter said hes changing from one alpha to another. And there were the times when Scott would calm isaac down as an alpha would. So in season 3b it's kinda solidified that isaac is in Scott's pack

I think a good analogy is a very popular, famous, critically acclaimed movie. For someone who has never seen the movie and going into it there's all this hype and praise like it's the best, greatest thing ever, that can definitely build your expectations, then when the person finally sees it for himself/herself, it's not as great to them as the general fans in part because of all the hype and because people are always telling you Character A is awesome or Scene B is the best acting ever. It's better for a person to decide for themselves in a bubble outside of all the bias and hype, but sometimes that's not always possible.

tbh Damon used to be my favourite but last two seasons it just didn’t hit right for me, which confused me at first since i wasn’t ever apart of the fandom so wouldn’t have stans negatively impacting my view. i think characters like Caroline, Stefan and Bonnie got a lot better throughout the show and developed, having us care for them. whereas it was always the same with Damon, it got tiring. ended liking Elena more than Damon.

I get what you mean Davion, you think Stiles is overhyped by the fandom and that they don't give credit to the others. But here's the thing, Stiles is played by Dylan O'Brien. One of the most beloved celebrities in Hollywood. Most people who even watch Teen Wolf only watch it because Dylan is in it. So obviously he was gonna be the fan-favorite. If Stiles was played by a different actor, he wouldn't be as popular.

Fandoms can and do influence a person’s feelings on certain things. Imagine getting into the teenwolf fandom and all anyone would talk about and praise as the best, is stiles. I love him and that kind of hype will either make you excited to meet him or tired of him before you even see him I started watching teenwolf before it stopped airing without engaging in the fandom so stiles is in my top 3, but now interacting with the fandom I skip past so many posts of him cause I’ve seen more than enough 🥴

Oh, yeah, Siles+Scott is definitely the best relationship from the show, I can't agree about the second one but the first one is like a fact, everyone loved their bromance, it was so nice to see it since the pilot too. Davion is right when he says that Dylan's fandom is crazy, this it's not just about TW tho(it wasn't that bad at the beginning), he is popular in general, he was and he is in some big movies. Ofc that he gained a big fandom too, not to mention that he is good looking(we like it or not, that it's a thing for popularity too). So yeah, the fans can become just too biased at some point. I love Stiles and Dylan in general(I feel his movies) but I was never that crazy, Stiles is a great character but there are other good characters in TW, the show wouldn't have been the same without all of them.
