I don't remember liking Allison at this point but I don't remember hating her either which is even worse because it means I was just indifferent to her character. You get whiplash trying to follow along with her moods. They didn't create her as a compelling character that I cared about tbh. I'm pretty sure the actress was annoyed with it too.

I had enough of Alison by this time, always playing hot and cold with everyone. The writers thought they should make her into a type of heroine after playing such a baddie last season.

She was heroine in that scene where she saved them from the alpha pack.

@thomas_lnls Most critical thinkers lose their immersion when something feels forced/contrived. Which generally can be said about most of Allison's scenes. That's why this comment is addressing the writers, and not what happened "in-universe". Yes she saved the day at surface level within the scene, but we're pulling back and judging it as a production because immersion was broken. (At least for me. Im assuming the original comment felt the same). If you can stay immersed and enjoy the scene, then that's great. But for a lot of us, her writing and scenes are amongst one of the worst in the show.

She has no family, she tells her dad 🙄 We get this is a teen biased show that's gonna prioritize friendship but wtf. It's not about if she's right or not, it's about how she's right, and that's where the writing and scenes are super forced. Which is what's being critiqued if you pay attention.
