there was a promo for season 3 that had an alternate version of Deucalion's "alpha of alphas" speech, where he just said it calmly, rather than yelling, and I've always thought that version worked better. Instead of screaming, he's just...saying it, because he's so confident about it that he doesn't need to yell. Sadly, the promo has been deleted from MTV's website, and it doesn't seem to be on youtube anywhere

Nathan - Isaac also doesn’t like Allison because she shot all those arrows in Boyd in a fit of rage after her mom died (which her mom brought on herself trying to kill Scott). Boyd is his friend and part of his pack and hasn’t forgiven him. That coupled with being Scott’s ex (who he respects) makes him uncomfortable being in that closet alone with her.

the way the like pack thing works i think is that the beta has to have loyalty to an alpha and it creates a sort of imaginary bond between alpha and pack member. that bond makes the alpha of said pack stronger. if the pack member changes allegiances to a different alpha, i believe it makes them slightly weaker and the strength goes to whatever alpha their loyalty now lies with. so technically i believe boyd is part of derek's pack at this point, even if he formally left, he's back now
