This has been one of the funniest videos I've seen in quite awhile. The folks at top gear were completely right about the likeness to a peacock compared to a boy with a handbrake. I'm 17 and that's what me and my friends do. Whenever a girl walks by, we're always sure to start up our cars and rev them just a little. My friend set off a car alarm today doing that :)

One does not simply cock up a handbrake turn. 1: Start off at 30 mph in 1st gear. 2: Turn your steering wheel half a turn. As you do so, pull on the handbrake and dip the clutch. When applying the handbrake, be sure to hold the button as so to allow quick releasing and quick pulling away. 3: Release the handbrake and what you do next is your choice. Nothing, accelerate out of it or reverse out of it.

I love how it is nearly impossible to get wheelspin with the 940,unless you rev up and then let go of the clutch, which would probably break something, but with my parent's V70 it's extremely easy( even in 3rd). I have written "3B", not "B3". This is the internal Type code for this car here in Germany. So that Type was made from 1996-2000 and it is the first version. Clearly visible, it has unpainted impact stripes on the bumpers, so it is a Passat 3B Trendline or a Comfortline. On the Highline Edition these stripes were painted in the same colour as the whole car. It might be called B5, but in germany no one is using that name. The next generation made from 2000-2005 was called Passat 3BG or also B5GP. The 3BG has other rear lights with 2 white spots in it, one for the turning indicator and one for the reverse light. The older 3B (as seen in the video) only has one white spot in the rear lights for the reverse light. I know this for sure, because my father had both of these cars. First a 3B and later also a 3BG. So, these cars are almost the same age. And the Hyundai was rolled over, correct. But it had no impact on the front, just the hood got damaged. So there was no relevant impact from the front that could have weakened the structure of the front
