It's all because of Jeremy. He's the one who made TG so outstanding, so enjoyable show with his precious talents. But unfortunately, he used some of his "not so admirable" talents too and put the BBC in trouble several times. And eventually they had to make a decision - one of the toughest I guess. At the end TG - what most people loved is permanently lost. It can never be the same without the trio and TGT - their new show can neither be it because of copyright issues.

I like the Cherokee the best. They seem like good vehicles. They haven't been sold new in the US in 15 years at this point and yet I still almost always see more than one of them on the road when I go out. And they salt the roads here in winter too. If nothing else, they certainly have longevity.

the last model year for the xj Cherokee in the us was 01. ant they are extremely long lasting vehicles provided you have the 4.0L straight six. I've seen some go well past 300,000 miles. Good offroaders too.

Longevity they do have along with a stabilty, quickness (on the acceleration side lol) and a decent ride over not so smooth terrain. I daily my 99 xj with 220k miles and will still outlast many of these decade newer vehicles on the road.
