Thanks so much! I’m sure it would have come to you too but it makes me very happy to help anyone spend less time problem solving and more time jammin

I wish they would take a note from ableton move and give you a semi random set of sounds for a new project
@pocketspell16 күн бұрын
Yeah. I don't have the move but that sounded like a clever feature. It's tricky because the tracks are all meant to be flexible, so fully random would be too unpredictable I feel like

Thank you! Not obvious at all and was hoping someone would show how best to do this. 🙏

Awesome! I wanted templates but haven’t thought of this, I feel stupid now😅 Would be nice though if they implement a dedicated templates folder that you can choose from when creating new projects. But this will work great in the meantime

Yeah it’d be cool if this was baked into the UI in a more intuitive way but glad this helps!

Are these projects sharable across different op-xy? Is there like a project file?
@pocketspell15 күн бұрын
Yes, when you connect to your computer in mtp mode, there's a folder called "projects" that you can drag and drop into.

Also useful for backing up your work.

Haha no roast. To be honest I feel like a dunce now not doing the same thing already. I've been a bit weirded out how I'm not able to create complex drums as I used to do it in OP-Z and literally yesterday I've realized that because I had the flexibility of the 4 split channels to do so on Z. Going to do the same this eve.

@@pilkafa true! I agree my beats have been a lot more straightforward on here and I didn’t put it together that the combined tracks could be the culprit. There’s also something about how snappy they are on the z that I can’t quite put my finger on
