Gr8 turorial bro. Thanks a lot. Bought my arcade and robot a year ago but never had the time to really learn the arcade to use it properly. Now this video helped me a lot to make the first steps.

Since you've played with all of them which do you think is the best? Or at least the first one someone should get for an all around sound

13StJimmy Every review I’ve seen has recommended the PO-20 as a starting point because of the chord feature - it allows for more complexity.

The KO is also cool for its customizability. It’s effectively a pocket-sized sampler.

Mine is making a tapping sound on every slot even when I've cleared it lots of times. Do I have a metronome turned on or something?
@andresebastian8099

Yup it’s metronome plus chord

John Danker after you first select sound to play, press whichever one you want. If you don't want a certain beat or sound somewhere, then tap which one you don't want, but remember you have to select the sound you want to edit

Is there any way to midi clock sync this little beast with other hardware than tennage ingeneer products ?
@uglytv3417
@uglytv3417 4 жыл бұрын
This uses a click track for sync. Most hardware sequencers and drum machines can generate a click track, so that would be my first thought as to how to achieve sync. Like for 4/4 just set a clicky sound of some sort on the downbeats on a dedicated out (say, on the Arturia drumbrute impact) and run that to the PO20's input.

Piece of cake to sync it with any other device that outputs a sync pulse (5v pulse). You can also sync it directly to a daw like Ableton using CVtools in max4live.

so wow, there is no way to use the 16 pads as different notes? Just manual tuning? I am liking these less and less every vid I see..

If you did some research you would know that they are all different. There are others where notes can be played on the buttons.
