You can only audition the sounds if write mode is off. This tidbit is not widely mentioned and took me hours to figure out.
@FreeBeat
@FreeBeat 3 жыл бұрын
This is true. Once you turn on right mode, the 16 pads become your sequencer and auditioning sounds is not possible.

this is fking addiction. I always liked music and played some instruments, but last august I stumbled across the OP1 and bit the bullet, then I just fell into this abyss addiction of buying audio stuff. Then the pocket operator, then the soundwich, I just snatched a stereo field now because I can't resist lol

@@FreeBeat Music is so fun. I have been playing guitar and piano all the time and I felt I hit a bottleneck. then after i got into 'composing' or at least that's what i think i'm doing, i feel like i'm opening up new possibilities. I never was really into the softwares, but these unique instruments really are fun to play with.

Hi, my son got a PO 133 for christmas and we are struggling to find advice on how to use it! for instance, how to delete a pattern etc. Thank you
@FreeBeat
@FreeBeat Жыл бұрын
To clear a pattern, first make sure you're on the pattern you want to delete (hold pattern and press 1-16). To delete the current pattern, hold the function button (which is different on every pocket operator. In the case of the PO-133 it's the record button). While holding that button, press the pattern button and the current I selected pattern will be deleted. Hope that helps!

When you hold down the BPM button, you can select a volume level between 1 and 16 by pressing the corresponding pad. One being the quietest, 16 being the loudest. Have fun!

Hi, I make music also. I have most of the pocket operator's (there's a couple i didn't buy,mostly because they don't interest me) reguardless,I do like the ones I've bought but I never really used them to create a track. The thing that threw me off was when syncing 2 or more po's, the levels of one might overpower the other which can throw the mix off. (For example - a lead type sound on robot being way too loud while arcade is playing a rythym. I have alot more professional gear than the pocket operator's,but I have a project idea that the pocket operator's fit ,so I plan to put in some practice with these po"s and I wanted to let you know that you're simple videos are consise & helpful . Thank you. P.s. - i recently started a KZbin channel ,it's very slow going at this time , but i post some sounds there & i appreciate any subscriber's to the channel if you are interested. Take care.
