They played with such wild abandon, but they could play. TH deserved a lot more love and attention. I’m 65 and I’m listening to them more now than ever. RIP Frankie, RIP Gordie.

Loved these guys growing up. Nothing fancy just fun rock and roll. Great songs by a really tight band.

Steve Mahon was a huge influence on me becoming a Bassist. Without his relentless vicious attack of his rockabilly style, Teenage Head wouldn’t be the same. Wicked groove. One of the best Bass players in the World. Very underrated. Cheers Steve and God Bless

The whole band was underrated and dismissed by much of the US punk movement. They were the best and were there from the beginning ; and from the US all I ever hear is about Orange County bands or NYC bands or London. They deserve much more recognition. I guess an untimely accident years ago thwarted their attempt to break thru to the big time. RIP Gord!!!

When you see them in a small basement bar in Oakville, Ontario at 10pm in the middle of August with only one exit and no ventilation standing in front of the speakers, after drinking about 4 beers, smoking a joint and doing a gram of 'shrooms, that's probably as good as it gets.
@johncooper62462 жыл бұрын
@@TheStuble I was in that basement bar in Oakville at 10 PM in August lamenting Gordie's multi-string leads on that lovely Gibson. Shrooms may have heightened it... Nah. This song and 'Top Down' with an encore of 'Disgusteen' the chicks went wild! Good times.

I was the soundman for the Head and I carried all that crap up and down 3 and 1/2 flights of stairs at the Coronet Motor inn. Great times with the best family. 1982/83 I remember being told about the bagpipes................
@talisbriedis4 жыл бұрын
Coronet Motor Inn used flunkies from the local jail to haul the equipment up and down. I only carried light stuff. But you understand this video is from the Coronet theater on Yonge st., in Toronto. Easy load in and out.
