I’m pretty sure 2012 turtles are terrapin diamondbacks mixed. In the 2018 shows Raph is an alligator snapping turtle, Mikey is a boxturtle, Donnie is a softshell and Leo is a red ear slider.

Xever is Brazilian, so his fighting style is more Capoeira oriented

These Purple Dragons are nothing compared to the 2003 version of them, which by the way is really sad that the 2012 series couldn’t do it.

The 2003 version were much more intimidating and had more numbers than the 2012 version, they even rival the foot clan.

@@jalenellis3594 Exactly plus even with the drastic numbers of the purple dragons in many scenes a bunch of them had unique and cool designs despite them being in the background are being basic goons in fights. Plus Hun being a very tough and intimidating leader.

@@avalongavastan3707 I feel like what could make them interesting if that thanks to Hun being the new leader, they took martial arts under him while the turtles along with Casey and April were gone. They can still lose but not too badly. What do you say?

@@zeroxenoverse9251 Yeah that would be good and add some threat to them, as well as their ranks getting bolstered a bit since they're supposed to be a gang and four people isn't exactly what would qualify as a gang at least to my standards, so it would be nice if Hun recruited maybe 20 more people to be purple dragons. Though that will never happen since the series ended so we will never get to see something like the purple dragons get expanded on in this show unfortunately. At least beyond Hun being the new leader:

@@avalongavastan3707 Nice, that can totally give the turtles trouble and more Casey focused episodes. I would also like to add on multiple gangs that represent their nationality because I think Shredder went over all the gangs like him mentioning the south americans. I say have the normal ones be generic like pre purple dragons while the leaders(Like Hun) and elites be the martial artist, as well as giving their fighting styles based one their ethnicity. Like Koreans(Taekwondo but the leader knows Taekkyon), North Americans(Kickboxing), Europeans(Savate), and Japanese(Uechi-Ryū Karate but the leader knows Gosoku-ryū). Something like Tokyo Revengers. I maybe be pushing it but that's what I can think of.
