Correct, the only thing wrong is they changed the weight from kilos to pounds. The amount of kilos he lost is the number of guards.

This is what happens when you miss out on the original content and skip straight to sequels. It makes the original seem not as good because you're not incapable of appreciating it, you've already gotten used to the improvements. Watching a sequel before the original: A very bad idea

the original script for the film was actually written with Clint Eastwood/Harrison Ford in mind, with that version of John being roughly 75 years old, and having retired almost 25 years prior. Keanu was shown the script, and (if i recall correctly) advised they heavily cut down the opening of the movie into the final version, with the original script supposedly having up to 30 minutes of John in his daily life before the dog gets killed. You're also right in that he got them to change the name to John Wick. The original title was "Scorn".

Great reaction! Also, you should really give Candela Obscura a try! Not only is it a fun setting, but the gameplay feels like it's a late 90s style mystery TV show. Seriously, the game sessions open with a "Cold Open" scene, a little research & exposition, and the confrontation with the perp/monster of the week.

I love that John Wick movies, brought back a lot of actors from Matrix, Morpheus, the Keymaker (Dr.), and the guy that throws John Wick was an agent on Matrix Reloaded. Also... FYI, the woman that tried to killed John Wick, was Wonder Woman in the tv pilot alongside with Pedro Pascal as a detective.

I wanna pont this out cuz im a NERD His Latin back tattoo "Fortis Fortuna Adiuvat" is Latin and nowdays it is always translated as "fortune favors the bold". That is of Christian origins and not the original meaning. The Latin used is older than the medieval Church Latin. It is a proverb that was seen as already ancient in the time when Ceasar lived(100 BC - 44 BC.) Fortis = (The) strong (ones) referring to a specific group of people not boldness/strength etc. Those would be robur/audacia. Fortuna = a Roman Goddess personification of Luck and fate. A force that could as easily be good or bad (it also seems to be capitalises as nouns are.) Adiuvat = AD "to/toward" + IUVAT "help/aid/save" in this case it could be translated as "Goddess (Fortuna) comes to save/aid". John Wick is the culmination of films like The Raid 1 & 2, Equilibrium, early John Woo movies like A Better Tomorrow and The Killer, and Keanu Reeves’ own Matrix trilogy. I highly recommend both of the Raid films, in which two actors were featured in John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum.

ok, so. I LOVE. LOOOOVE The John Wick franchise.. but as someone married to a Russian woman, the Russian in this series.. is god awful. the whole "Baba Yaga" boogeyman thing is just wildly incorrect. Baba Yaga is a droopy breasted old witch who flies in a cauldron. The American equivalent is NOT the Boogeyman. Also, just the literal Russian language is poorly done, they really needed a pass with at least one Russian person. I can't watch this movie with my wife who both loves action films and Keanu without her cringing and it sucks.
