Thanks for the review! I know of the teenage ninja turtles but never got into the comics, tv shows! However, this looks interesting! The animation is cool, the voice acting, the action! Probably will check it out eventually. ❤🐢

In terms of previous incarnations leaning more into them being Teens/kids, I think the only one to really capture that essence was the 2012 CG animated series on Nickelodeon. While they were voiced by older actors (hell, Donnie was voiced by 80's Raphael Rob Paulson), they did come across as much younger than previous iterations. As much as I love the old movies and cartoons, now that I think about it, I never really thought of them as teenagers, despite that moniker being in the name lol. They always felt older, more like early 20-year olds "trying" to sound young with the slang and "Cowabunga"'s.... But the 2012 CG Series and now "Mutant Mayhem" really feel like the Turtles are authentic teenagers. I like that; feels fresh and more... honest somehow. Can't wait to catch this flick this weekend!

I loved TMNT Mutant Mayhem!! The back stories of some of characters did change but the movie basically used obscure characters that were rarely used so it wasn’t that big of deal. I will say that Michelangelos, voice should’ve been Donatello’s and Donatello’s voice should have been Michelangelo’s. That’s the only real issue I had. Loved SuperFly, he was my favorite character in the movie and a great villain. There is, imo, a great mid credit scene so stick around for that for ppl who haven’t seen the movie yet!! 8/10 for me!!

I actually happened to see a trailer for this and the animation is giving Sony Miles animation, but, like it's sticking to one style and not all of them for TMNT. Lol. Nice review! I have a free ticket so this will be fun to catch in the 3d 4dx!

I'm born in 1990 so I grew up with TNMT from the games on the NES ,the TV show ,the live action movies the first 2 are the best. From the looks of the trailer and your review giving me just enough to to be I'm excited yet curious of some changes ill always a turtle's fan, my favorite is Michelangelo he's goofy and sometimes outta line but can definitely hold his own in fights, thank you Dustin and Wendy 🙏

@@TheMovieCouple sometimes AU and NZ releases get delayed so they can line up with our school holidays. It doesn't happen often, but I do recall a few movies being delayed that way pre-2020.
