Who the hell could seriously dislike this enough to give it a thumbs down? Jealous much? To those who say they play too fast or need to somehow improve...you do realize that the oldest kid in this band is 14. Most musicians don't pick up an instrument for the first time until they're about this age. The kid in the banjo is TEN for krissakes! If you gave this a down vote you need to get a life...seriously.

What can I say? Fifty years I've been a picker, learned one-on-one from THE one and only Jerry Garcia for a whole year when I was the age of these kids, then for many years taught banjo to hundreds of kids and grown-ups one on one, and by golly, sleepy man, are you gonna run circles around me? Damn you're good!! Sure I could learn a few licks from you. Just a thought: Have you pondered adding a mandolin and a bass player? Anyway, keep on pickin, I always love finding a new clip of you guys to feast my eyes and ears. All the best for continued success!

These kids were unbelievable the first time I heard them years ago. And being that it was Bluegrass when surrounded by rap and rock was even more impressive. I'm looking r new videos. And you, wow learning from Jerry! Im sure that was tough being he played nothing the same twice. Lol.. I'm sure you have memories others dream of. Lately I've learned much probably most from KZbin. Guitarists in bands I'd have never listened to before are now my heroes. If you ever play on here let mr know. Forgive me I should have started with Hello and I hope you are all healthy and well.

Always got someone thats not happy with something, its their name, and yes they described how they got their name on the letterman show. So just enjoy the talent, and shutup! lol

Pay no attention to people who criticise just to deem some sort of meagre existence in this planet. These kids are incredible musicians and they would be at any age.
@steve958387 жыл бұрын
About the name "sleepy man" - I heard them explain once that when Johnny was younger, due to the heaviness of the banjo, he would lay down on top of the bed, with the banjo on top of him, and learned to play that way, to compensate for the weight. As any banjo player knows, banjos are much heavier than guitars, due to the metal in them. Thus the name "Sleepy Man..."
