These guys were all individually the best New York City had to offer at the end of the 80s beginning of the 90s. They all came together to support the amazing Lady Kerr! I was 18 years old when I ran away to see her perform in Soho the year before this album came out. It was a foundational moment for me. She is an amazing woman that has lived life on her own creative terms! ❤❤❤

😊 Hands down the best dance song of the 1990s. I was actually gonna request it. Glad somebody beat me to the punch. I was lucky enough to see Deee-Lite in concert at Six Flags Over Texas back in 1992.

God, I miss Six Flags Over Texas. I haven't been there since I was 14 in 1985. I would love to go and see what it's like now, but never seems to work out. I also miss living in Dallas.

This track has always made me think that if you took the 60's the 70's the 80's and the 90's and put them in a blender this is what you would end up with! Truly amazing! I've always loved this track!

When I first heard this song on the radio I thought it was about a bunch of students out of their minds at a party 😂. Then, when I watched the video I was amazed it was so psychedelic (like something out of an Austin Powers movie).

This is an absolute banger of a tune, the funky hip disco mix is just so unique. I'm glad to see more people embracing this tune. Her vocals then that epic rap paired with all of they unique sounds, it's perfection in my eyes. It's also a very uplifting wee tune and never fails to perk me up 🎉

Thought you could use a curve ball from 1990 to get a better overall view of the time period😂 This was wildly popular, in heavy rotation on MTV and heard at the clubs nightly. Great opportunity for everyone to drop any pretense, bust a smile and have a lot of fun dancing.

Doesn't sound that bad? Dude, this is the last kind of music I listen to, but this song gets played at max volume. When I listen to this song so do my neighbors. This song is 🔥. Q-Tip rapping, Maceo on sax and Bootsie on bass. Awesome song.

This was a huge international dance hit worldwide in the early '90's. You were still stardust young man so you missed all the fun at the time. You do have rhythm though & your head is certainly enjoying dancing around. Maybe try standing up next time when you feel the groove & you'll be amazed how your body will just naturally follow. Don't forget dancing is real good exercise & a lot of fun. Better than just sitting in front of your screen not burning off any calories. I reckon you'd be a really great dancer & if you want to meet new friends for even more fun you'll have to be able to bust some moves to gain some attraction towards finding a partner. You can do it!!
