This was crazy to watch because first you think aww he is sweet. Then you hear he murdered 2 people for nothing. Or then okay she has got it together but then I hear she cut out someone's tongue and fingers. Or she ran a cop over and paralyzed them for life and there is no remorse...wow!

This is the worst place for people to fall in love. I’ve never been in juvie or jail but I did go to a couple psych wards for suicide attempts/panic attacks/depression n I met this girl I thought was the loml. She was in residential treatment and she tricked me into pretending she was an amazing, just lost, human being. Super long story short.. I got my parents to foster her, she was an Angel to me and my parents until I caught her cheating and after that she started beating me tf up basically everyday as well as mentally abusing me every single day all day. She was so damn manipulative so damn crazy. She also physically, mentally, and financially abused my parents and tried killing all of us. Moral of the story you can’t trust unstable people. She was amazing the first 5 months of our relationship, seriously it was heaven, but once I caught her cheating it was all over. I didn’t know I fell in love with a narcissist pathological lying sociopath… and that should never be the situation. Thanks to whoever read all this :)

He murdered 2 people, at the age of 15, and gets a short sentence. So confusing. Surely he is a danger to the public? She "didn't like some cop so ran him down, leaving him paralyzed for life"? You are spot on! Sadly, this is what we see time and time again especially working in the medical field. These children/victims are shaped by the role their parents play. So when they come from dysfunction, and parental neglect, its not a matter of " if" its a matter of when these kids begin lashing out. Its heartbreaking.

Unfortunately most of these children were raised with abusive, drug addicted, uneducated parents & this is the result. What might be common sense for us, isnt for them. They live trying to survive out on the streets. Their basic needs arent being met. Ontop of all these factors, peoples brains arent fully developed until their late 20s. Im a therapist for adult men who are incarcerated & you wouldn't believe some of their stories. While these kids have done horrendous crimes, it is not so black and white. Im 32 years old & I'm just starting to understand that. I hope these children learn and grow so they can break the cycle.

This documentary was made in 2010 during which time Larry Lynn’s wife Babz Chula died during the making of this feature, he became an ordained minister following her death. Sadly, unless the now adult kids of this feature come forward or someone else involved in the making of it we will never know how well Diamond danced on the revolving door of the adult jail.

This is why not all people who can be parents should be. All these kids grew up with trauma. I had a lot of trauma too but never had the anger like these kids do. They still are so young and don't have a grasp on what they did. Phoenix maybe seems more remorseful, but what he did was horrific. The girl I would not want out on the street. She has no remorse for paralyzing someone because he was a cop she doesn't like. I am sure he isn't too fond of her as well. She isn't ok to be let out if that is how she handles people she doesn't like. Hope they can get help and not waste all their years behind bars.

People don’t realize but if you don’t have that foundation of love from your parents or even a parent your going to turn that pain into anger and anger is fear turned inside outwards. What you give your children their going to put that out into the world and this happens generation after generation. Everyone in life needs to feel loved by someone they need to feel that safety net. When a child grows up in a abusive home when they get older they search for that love to feel the void. When someone believes in you they start to believe in themselves these kids grow up and have walls built up around then because everyone that they ever trusted failed them. It really messes your mind up when your own parents don’t show you love so that person develops low self esteem so they pick another broken person. When you hit rock bottom and there’s no one around always remember you have God! And that’s not cliche it’s the truth if you open up your heart and repent God will give you more love and acceptance than you could ever imagine!
