Maci is the real definition of growth. She didn’t need a man to feel whole and when things were bad with Ryan she cut it off and wasn’t tryna “be a family”. She’s the most level headed mom out of the whole franchise.

I don’t like Chelsea to be honest. She needs a man to be happy and feel whole. She messed with Adam up until she found cole. She literally admitted to sleeping with him while Taylor was pregnant. Maci on the other hand saw a problem and got away from it and is doing great. If Chelsea hadn’t found cole she’d still be messing with Adam.
@ATMBonnie_3 жыл бұрын
@@celina8331 I don’t think that was her point at all tho. Chelsea is co dependent and doesn’t seem comfortable alone. Her dad has always sheltered her tbh she wasn’t even comfortable living alone with Aubrey. Remember she had her best girlfriend move in rent free until Adam moved in and put her out. She didn’t even stand up for herself or her friend and I I hated that . She didn’t have the same level of self assurance and confidence as Macy did when she was young . I think she feels pressure to be perfect and have the “perfect family” which probably contributes to her anxiety issues

"if we're not happy together that's not what's best for him" that is so true. A lot of parents stick it out for the kids and are miserable and fight all the time and their kids grow up only ever knowing what a dysfunctional relationship is, only ever seeing their parents fight and yell and cry and be miserable. Of course a breakup isn't ideal for the kids, but it is better than two parents who hate each other. It is better to see their parents happy and to see healthy relationships and to see that their parents might not love each other anymore but they still love their children with all their hearts.

@@sassmith848 I probably had PCOS when I was a teenager too. I always had irregular periods from the start of my cycles at 13. I would go 4/5 sometimes 6 months with no period. However, my mom didn't have the doctors every do something. I am 30 yrs old now. Had my son at 28. My mom did take me to the Doctor for ovarian cysts that they found. I was 18 yrs old then, just suffered a miscarriage due to the baby daddy punching me in the stomach when he found out.
@melissavickery22363 жыл бұрын
@@sassmith848 I had excessive hair growth. I always deemed it because of both my parents having Native American in their lineages. I am also French,Polish from my dad's side and Italian from my moms side. So, i didn't think of it as a symptom of PCOS. When I told my mom my diagnosis at 29 yrs old, she had no idea what PCOS was. Back then, the doctor's didn't test for that. I also had weight issues but again, I chalked it up to being Italian and loving bread. At 19, I was 1 yr into my domestic violence relationship with a black man. I say black man because i was homeless at 18, after my first semester in college with a 3.6 GPA and full ride scholarship. My parents kicked me out on the streets at that point. So, at 19, I was 1 yr into the relationship with the guy. Left right at my 21st birthday. I talk about my past to possibly help someone else. Maci is an amazing woman. I didn't know as a fan of hers, that she had PCOS. It gave me a new found appreciation for her and her family

Thank you Maci for doing this… my pcos caused cervical cancer in me and I had to have a radical partial hysterectomy and now I only have my ovaries and everything else is gone due to the cancer. I’m currently in remission (thankfully) however there’s a 75% chance that I will develop cancer somewhere else within my body before I’m 40 and I’m 32 right now. People need to know about this and more gynaecologists and gps should be talking to their female patients about this

I was diagnosed with PCOS 4 years ago and just had my daughter December 23. I can sympathize with the symptoms, the missed periods, the long periods, the pain, the mood swings, trying to have a baby for so long and wondering why it isn't happening. It's the worst feeling. I hope more research is done and we can get more information.

And I completely understand what she’s talking about with anxiety and irritability. I’m so irritable and mean sometimes because of the amount of pain I’m in. I really don’t like how the adoption counselor used the word “damage” do describe a child. I considered going into the adoption/ foster concentration after I complete my social work degree and one thing we learned is that wording/ verbiage is everything. I wish she would have said “the older child may have experienced trauma and you and your family should prepare for that.”
