Amber would have done better in that time if Gary would have gotten her the help she needed and quit acting like an idiot. Like why couldn't he have let Amber finish her GED and then he go to school? He would put his dirty shoes all over the furniture, etc and then leave it for Amber to clean up while having a newborn and obvious post partum depression.

An uncle SA’d Farrah when she was younger and both her parents swept it under the rug and protected the uncle. Ryan was so afraid to show and say his true feelings. You can see he loved Maci but he didnt know how to show and tell her. I mean they was both young trying to be in love and be parents. It’s not her biological dad. It’s her step dad and honestly you shouldn’t force a child to call their step parent dad until they’re ready IF they’re ever ready. I call my step mom my stepmom when talking to other people but because I still have my bio mom in my life I don’t feel comfortable calling them both mom. So I call her by her name when I address her. I mean any disrespect by it. I love her.
