Being a teen these days and using shorthand damn near every text she (trying to save herbut may be a reach) may have, poorly, been trying to purvey that it can make you feel a bit “dramatic” or in your feels ? Just throwing a lifesaver after hearing her other “well just sorta like” etc.. many this age can’t really word their thoughts correctly because you seldom have to in day to day life. Whereas most Day 1’s grew up having to actually be able to articulate their thoughts correctly without the new “safeguards or cop-out cliche words that to them mean much more than the actual definition. Only reason for this is I had to ride my daughter and even threatened to take her phone and iPad away if I saw her write with dumbed down phrases or emojis, only because she texted me a few times in a day and they all resembled a 12 yr olds grasp on English. Make any sense?

If anyone needs pulling up in this video, it's the girl who says that Linkin Park get a lot of hate and because "everyone else hates on them" she followed suit, I mean that's just plain lazy, I mean good for you for forming your own opinion. The dude who says that fans who expect artists to stay exactly in their lane don't know how music works is SPOT-ON! Artists evolve, and their emotions change like everyone else. If they write a song at any given moment, the mood and general state of mind of the artist will have an impact on every little decision in the writing process. If they force themselves to stick to a particular sound to please the fans of the first release instead of following the instinct that lead them to make the music we loved in the first place, they'd be missing out on a big opportunity.

It took me years to listen to Heavy after Chester took his life. The people in this video clearly weren’t paying attention to the lyrics. Yes they went pop with heavy but it was so much deeper than that and it upsets me because that song was his last cry for help. And it still breaks my heart to this day. Because his music helped a lot of people. He made music to help other people cope and to go on living. But yet it wasn’t enough to help himself. Linkin Park will forever be remembered their music is real and raw and really hits you in the feels. And resonates with what people are going through.
