This song is about Pete’s (the lead singer) claustrophobia. I love that his voice does everything - pretty, melodic, growling, screaming. The best three piece band…although now it’s just Pete and his brother Sam on drums. I was lucky enough to see them live a couple of months ago. Amazing!

What makes Chevelle so good is the vocabulary they chose to use. It’s very large, it’s very unique. Pete definitely used Bad Religion as a blueprint for his lyrics and what vocabulary to use. He will use bigger words to tell the story and flow with the song.
